Well personally, I doubt the theives could just take the Rhogodessa's out of the pen and bring 'em to the PC's. I was left with the impression that the only reason why they haven't killed all the thieves in the complex is because they're content to stay put so long as their fed, but any other creature entering their territory becomes part of the lunch menu. If they dealt with the Illusionist when they came through, then he's either dead or long gone since he didn't want to be around when it was found out the PCs used his entrance to launch the attack. Not to mention the fact he's not officially part of the guild. It would take the Lotus a while to contact him if he's gone into hiding, and would detract resources from the inhouse threat. I'd think the best option is the 'prison break' scenario timed at when they hear there fellows beating on the door. However that only works if the PC's haven't stripped 'em naked and took 20 on their Use Rope check to bind 'em. Even if this doesn't really work out, there's many more opportunities in later adventures to take advantage of a split up party. So I wouldn't take it to bad if they still manage to trounce anything you throw at 'em.

I've been living in Baltimore for roughly 5 years now and have been sort of unlucky about finding groups. I was in one briefly before the DM kinda vanished, and I've tried starting one with some friends but they've never played before and weren't really inclined to buy any of the core stuff which lead to massive bog downs as 5 people tried to split my one PHB. Not very fun. The fact that our hours were completely out of sync lead to that groups demise. The only gaming I ever really get done is online, but it kinda diminishes the experience.

As far as my personal experience goes, I'm 25 years old and have been gaming since I was 12. How ever I haven't been a part of a long term serious group since I was 19. My most memorable player experience is playing through the Shackled City Adventure path when it first came out and having the distinct honor of crushing some important NPC villains in the first arc by dropping a Pipe Organ and a Piano on them from 100' in the air with my bard. Man I loved the old 3E spells...

So is there any group in or around Baltimore that wouldn't mind picking up another player? Prefably one that is either easily reached by mass transit or has a memeber that wouldn't mind driving into the city to pick me up in exchange for gas money?
