Hi all, I had a question regarding operative trick. as you need to declare it as a full round action, do you need to be able to see the target of the trick before the move as it needs to be declared prior to said move. I and my GM had a dispute regarding this as I figured it works like shot on the run you declare it and as long as you can see your target post move when the skill roll and attack are made it would be legal, he however figured it would be more like a charge where you have to be able to see the opponent to declare the action. Clarification on this would be great.
Thanks in advanced

hey people i am currently playing a agent of the graves in wicked and was after some advice on spells to select with secret of the grave. I get to select 4 spells now i am picking them from sorc/wiz as i am a oracle. but thought it might be nice to throw out the must puck spells from each list.

I know this question had come up for blood rager but have't been able to find it for the arcanist. But do they meet the spell casting rec for dragon disciple as the prepare there spells know but not there spells after clarification before I finish my pfs play test for this class.

Hey guys after a pfs legal alternative to the old draconic defender from dragons revised. Love the mechanics for the feat for a concept I have and wondering if there is something close mechanics wise that's pfs legal.

Sczarni

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The main issue I have with the table variation call is feat qualification. I mean fair enough no you can't wild shape on this table, you can on this one all goes out the window when you take natural spell at 5. Also as there has been debate here it is clearly still conflicted and that's why I was after official pfs ruling.

Sczarni

Yeah I knew about that post but they released another book after that post was made with no clarification that's why I was after a official ruling for pfs so I can show players without contention

Sczarni

In our local scene we have two different shaman Druids that are getting close to or are level 4. Was wondering if I could a official ruling on the level at which the shaman Druid archetypes get access to wild shape level and modded at level 6 or it is delayed to level to level 6 as this is a contentious issue in the group. I had looked and was unable to find it listed on here. Thank you in advanced

But AFAIK, the OP's case was a player who stated they were going around capturing NPCs to enslave.
'Because the NPCs deserve it' or acted hostiley to the PC in question isn't really a good enough reason to avoid Evilness IMHO, especially when the PC in question is knowingly seeking out these situations, and knows that their above average capabilities make such situations much less dangerous than for the average NPC, so the looting of slaves isn't much different than the looting of gold for them.

so what you are saying is a slaver is legal for seeking out people and enslaving them is evil, but the rest of the pathfinders whom seek them out and murder them to take all there stuff is ok.

oh but they did it in combat you say but they also did this knowing there above average abilities would lead to the murders of these people just wanted to add this to deceased's post above

The citation was because the LG Andoran in would not let me take fallen enemy's as slaves even though we were in the land of the linorm kings were the Ulfen be leave that the loser should become a slave and i would not leave them to come back and try and kill us again later so i killed them.

As the owner of the Slaver character and having had this forum pointed out to me tonight i feel it fair i way in. (first hi Glariofun i know who you are as i only have one evil citation, strangely enough not for slavery.)
Now the character is a Slaver whos ship is named "The spirit of Freedom" (maybe a bit on the nose but meh). he is of a N alignment he deals in slaves with contracts takes slaves were it is legal to do so(not Absalom as while slaver is legal there people cannot be enslaved). If on a table with say a Andoran he views his new stock as any other piece of loot and is fine with them taking there share to do what ever they want with. (4 Pc's catch 4 "new slaves" he takes his 1 the andoran lets his 1 go free, then he offers to sell the other 2 on behalf of the other PC's for a cut).
he is a merchant first and foremost if every were outlawed Slaves he would move to another form of merchandise.

(as a side note this character was made because i got sick of andoran players throwing there no slavery views around in a world were most nations allow it).
(oh and he is now my favorite character, also with pvp i am fine if you choose not to help him, because fact is if he thinks he is going to die he will leave you all for dead.)

player of Ulzef the Slaver and proud of it
