So I just bought the Ultimate Magic Guide, and was reading through it, and now, I have a few questions I hope someone here can answer it for me. 1. So I found out that you can Bind Outsiders, and I was reading through it, and I understand how to do it, but what is the point? Is it just for story, or can I actually command these creatures to aid me in battle? If I can command them in battle, where do I find their stats, AC, Attack, Hp, etc. 2. Also, I know this does not directly tie into the Ultimate Magic Guide, but I was wonder how Spell Failure Chance was determined. If I cast a level one spell, and had an Arcane Spell Failure chance of 55% how exactly do I determine if I fail?
So I was looking at other people's campaigns, to get an idea on how their character was done. I figured, that they just filled out their profile on the website, but I am starting to think this is not the case. I was just wondering how you set up a character sheet, for an online campaign session. Do you not set up the character until after the campaign has started, or do you just fill out your "profile" on this website? Thanks in advance.
So I had a question about Multi Classing in Pathfinder. I am currently a level two Paladin, and was thinking of classing into a Summoner on my next level. But I had a few questions. I apologize if the answers are in the book, I do not have time to search for the answers. 1. Considering the Paladin class can wear Heavy armor, and the Summoner class can not, I was wondering if I would have to strip off armor, to meet the needs of the Summoner class, to use Summoner spells? Can I run around with heavy armor, and a martial weapon, because I am a Paladin? 2. Spells that effect level, are they based on character level, or class level? These are all the questions I have for the time being. Thanks in advance for answering them, I appreciate it.
So my friends and I recently started playing Path Finder. I just had a few questions about the game. 1. I was wondering if they will ever release an updated version of the game, sort of like Dungeons And Dragons with 3.5, 4.0, 5.0. 2. In order to begin playing, what books should I purchase? I know the "Core Rulebook" is required. But as additional books, what would you suggest? I think this is all my questions for now. Thank you, I look forward to your answers. Thanks again. |
