Granted it doesn't say you can't but I have a gnome summoner with a quadraped. I took claws (legs) and by the way I read it, I can't take it again for the back claws. Saying that, I would figure you couldn't attack with your feet without being a monk. Otherwise, you would fall prone every time you attacked.

Just my thoughts mind.

I don't know if it changes anything, but I intend this eidolon to have wings, too; he wouldn't fall using his legs. I guess the question is still the same: can a biped attack with claws on his feet?

One last limbs question, now that we're on to claws:

The Claws evolution says you may only apply the claws evolution to legs once. Can a biped attack with claws on his feet if he only has two feet? I don't see anything prohibiting it, but I was wondering if I missed something.

Heck, since I've got your attention anyway, would the Reach evolution apply to all of one attack type (like claws) or just one of those claw attacks? EDIT: Nevermind. It clearly says one attack several times.

That helps a lot. It's my first summoner, so I'm still getting it, and it makes way more sense for Slam to be the way it is. Otherwise, why would anyone ever take Claws over it?

He would have only two slam attacks, but if he spent 2 points on claws he would have four claw attacks.

Ah, are Slams considered 2-handed attacks?

If an eidolon takes the limbs (arms) evolution, does he get 2 extra arms? Can both of these attack?

For example, if a low level eidolon (Biped build) spends 2 points on limbs (arms), and he already has one pair, then 2 points on Bash (1 point for each set of limbs), does he have 4 Bash attacks or only 2?

Check that. I meant "Slam" on all accounts, not "Bash."
