I'm working on a pact for a lv 4 character and I'm looking for an outsider's perspective on how it feels and what I should do for the capstone. Dig in.
My Drive
I would love to see the implementation of a spell point system over vancian spell slot system. Like psionics of old.
Another great one is the advanced alchemy feat by kobold press which adds your int mob to to DC of all alchemical items you make, poison included.

We're waiting on the last few pieces of art. The time I update, however, I'm going to be showing off the cover! (Judah's putting the final touches on it.) I'm also hoping to have a more clear time table for everyone.
Our stuff is tentative because once you bring other people onto a project, you're sort of at their mercy to an extent. Even if we drop an artist like we had to, that work still has to get done which means more waiting. We feel your pain, but we didn't collect nearly $10,000 to half-ass this project.
We're almost there!
Is really sucks for me, without the play test document. I've been reluctant to play a binder without knowing what changes were made top it. And I didn't want to ask my DM to rebuild my character once the new book does come out.

All I want for Christmas is a release date for Pact Magic Unbound: Grimoire of Lost Souls.
If you're gonna go 4 levels into the caster, i'd say go oracle 4/ warlord 1. the CHA synergy would be intense.
Second question, assuming that the influence is mind effectong, could a character that was immune to the influence still make pacts?
Is a spirit's influence considered a mind effecting ability? Would a creature that was immune to mind effecting abilities be immune to a spirit's influence from a poor pact?

Its just about August, and I can say with certainty that the Grimoire won't be ready then. Almost all of our artists are behind on their work, and we can't really make them draw any faster.
Dario and I will announce more as we get closer! Is the art the only thing holding back release? If so, and I think I can speak for a sizable number of people when I say this, I would totally pay full price for an artless copy of the book.

- Marat's Body: I hate to mention this, because it's a trick my occultist uses--but to clarify, if you are in any form, can you summon the armor? As written, I've been in Tiger form (due to Fey Barradu) and if I then use Marat's Body it summons plate mail (barding) for my tiger form, correct?
- Marat's Shield: "Shield" should be italicized. I think the old description might be better here, unless you mean it's just as if you're holding a normal shield (+2 AC).
- Personality Influence: I like the change here--it makes it matter more in-game.
— That's a tricky question, because the rules don't say that you can't wear armor after polymorphing, but anyone could tell you that polymorph + armor is bound to cause problems at the table. Honestly, I would say no. The ability summons a piece of gear for you, and that gear melds into your body like any other when you use a polymorph effect. However, because the imagery is REALLY cool, I'm willing to add the following line into the granted ability for you: "This armor adjusts to match your size, and if your form changes due to a polymorph effect, it adjusts to suit your new form instead of melding into your new form and ceasing to function, but its armor bonus is reduced by half."
— Fixed.
interesting fact for reference to this ancient reply, barding is just armor fitted for non-humanoid forms. light and heavy bardings from 3.5 are no longer a thing. instead you pay the appropriate surcharge to the price of the armor you'd like to apply to the creature.
Given that Marat's Body summons magic armor from nowhere land, the only reason i can see for the 2 abilities to be used in tandem in full effect is the possible book being thrown across the table at you.
Cyrad wrote: It looks okay for the most part, but I do not like any of the abilities that replace maneuver training 2, 3, 4, and 5. Maneuver mastery is already pretty much maneuver training on steroids, so it doesn't feel like a fair trade, even with the loss of the AC bonus. You basically get 5 powerful abilities at the price of 1. With your thoughts in mind, i removed the Know Thy Enemy abilty, and had the other abilities remove more features as cost.

Still in the rough draft stage of development, i put this together while looking over a Lore Warden/Maneuver Master build when i realized that brawler didn't have any general-maneuver based archetypes. Be kind to me and my baby.
Brawler Archetype
I'm looking to put together a group to play biweekly in the evenings on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. I'm looking forward to dming this particular edition of dnd and I'm hoping to gather a group of equally enthusiastic players. We'd be starting from first level in an adventure of my own creation.
games will be played at Meeple's Games in West Seattle, unless someone else has a better place to play. Hit me up at b.leys@hotmail.com if you're interested. I look forward to hearing from you all.

Wait, unless I've been doing math wrong my entire life, that makes 5 spirits at level 16. I'm okay with that number, but I would like a little confirmation on this, please. Note the "thereafter". It's not "1 plus 1 per 4 levels", but "1 plus 1 per 4 levels beyond level 4". So, 1 at first, 2 at 4th, 3 at 8th, 4 at 12th, and 5 at 16th...

Hi there! I don't know if your still looking for players, but I am definitely looking for a new group. I had to leave my old one due to scheduling issues, sad as that always is. Please let me know if you have space at the table for one more.
2 questions, is this game still running? Do you have an open slot?

HI, there. I'm currently looking for a Monday game. I'm 24
with a great deal of rp experience. Hit me up if your interested.
lithxe wrote: My husband and I live in the Seattle area and have been looking for a long-term Pathfinder group. We would love to find 3-4 people that are interested and are able to be in it for the long haul. We would more than likely be meeting at our place, as we own an Emissary D&D table from Geek Chic and have yet to break it in. This would allow us to keep our games set up between play sessions, and gives everyone a set work area. We are also fine if someone wants to be DM, otherwise we have it covered.
Info you might be wondering about:
- We are willing to work around schedules but we generally have Sunday/Mondays off
- We have many of the books and minis (though unpainted yet)
- Once a week
- Drinks and nibbles provided (or feel free to bring stuff too)
- Husband and I are 29/25
- We do have a dog and cat so be aware if you are allergic to pets, all super friendly and will be in the back room anyway
We would all meet up beforehand at a neutral place to see how we "mesh" and everything. If you think you might be interested, please post or email me at sartell.rachel@gmail.com.
Thanks!
