About Blayloch
6’1, 225 lbs. Dark bronze skin with lighter bronze dueling scars along his hands and on one cheek. Red & brown hair in tight braids. Sand Kin Half Orc. Capable of sounding very erudite, but generally prefers to be underestimated by being overly enthusiastic about fire.
A child of two very different peoples, Blayloch was raised primarily in the city of Totra on the coast of Osirian by mother, a sand kin half orc named Kazili, who worked as an auditor for the Harbor Watch. His father, a merchant of Qadira, had separated from his mother while he was yet an infant, and Blayloch knew little of him until his mother fell ill and was unable to care for him, sending him off to his father. His father found he was little able to keep up with the young half orc, and feared what he might do to himself or others without discipline. Pulling a few strings, he had him entered into a military academy in Omash, where he trained in the art of war and the siege magics of fire under one of the “tame shamans” of the Qadiran military. Graduating with honors, Blayloch was prepared to pledge his life and fortune to the Qadiran cause, but fell afoul several nobles, who saw only his half orc heritage and had him imprisoned and beaten.
His father, recognizing the disillusionment and what it foretold told Blayloch that he and his mother were retired Pathfinders and encouraged Blayloch to join the society to seek both purpose and profit as they had.
