i think blaize is still two rooms back what is going on there? I am a little lost at the moment. Am I still here? I can start to burn the building down then somebody will realize I am here

Blaize follows along after her fun with the fireplace. she scopes out the room that Ras seemed so afraid of. she rubs her hands together and they heat up. she then covers her eyes for a second then looks about the room.

Blaize looked rather somber at the word she cannot burn the place down, but she can play with the fire in the fireplace.

Heading over there she stokes up the flames and gets a bit mesmerized at the dancing flame.

she starts to toss scraps of stuff into the fire just to watch it burn.

Sh nearly jumps when the door is kicked open she almost was about to hurl fire in that direction but realized that it was Raseri that opened the door.

Blaize seems content with the situation, now can i start a fire? she asks, actually already knowing the answer.

Blaize enters through the window. You can surrender now. before things get a little to hot for you to handle.

a small ball of flame surrounds one of her hands.

Peering in through the now open window, (well slightly open) Blaize produces a small flame in her hand, I know he said no fire, but what else am I to do? she whispers to herself.

reaching in through the window Blaize lobs the flame onto closest to her.

Giving the men a chance to move towards the exit, she then slips into the bunk room.

Blaize heads to a window to try and see inside. If she can she will slip in the window.

Blaize moves as quietly as she can trying to avoid a direct line of fire from the door to her.

Though she may not have a direct shot either, the nice thing about fire, it spreads.

Blaize checks things out concerning the building. Though she doesn't actually approach, she does try and spy some flammable areas.

my back hurts, my arms hurt, my legs hurt. I can't get warm enough... shoveling 2 feet of snow really sucks.

Blaize seems to cling close to Grandma, as she is a familiar face. and the extra bits of good food helps as well.

If they are in a cabin, then maybe that will have that warm bed some have been wanting.

Blaize gathers her few belongings, and even offers some of her half frozen jerky to the prisoners. as well as to the animals (as long as they don't try and take it all).

Blaize looks a little confused, she got the general idea as to what they were doing. but some holes needed to be filled.

Blaize is definitely happy about the meal.

She seemed a little overwhelmed with everyone. but she soon warms up (no pun intended) she still seems a little nervous with the animals but she tries not to anger them, keeping a little distance for now.

I can help with watch with Grandma. and I can help with breakfast. I am really good at eating breakfast. plus I can get the fire going for the morning as well.

Blaize is a little wary around the animals. she tries to scoot away a bit. she seems nervous around them.

Blaize looks to Tobias, of course we do, who in Heldren doesn't know Grandma Mable. I used to to try and steal her pies when she set them out to cool, never did get one though, Mable always knew when I was coming.

Blaize was about to tell some more but she was suddenly "assaulted" by some rather furry companions.

as the sniff and check her out the first thing they notice is she is rather warm.

Blaize tries to be friendly with the wolf and fox? wasn't sure there.

AS more people appear, Blaize stares in a shock, but only for a second or two.

then there is the comment about the knife, she glances at her dagger. oh crap she mumbles and she quickly switches her grip. then realizing she is in the fire she quickly jumps out Ouch, little hot.

added a picture to the stat bar. yes Blaize has white hair. but she does have the normal number of fingers (don't know why the picture has those odd hands.)

Blaize lost in her little daydream, at first, is totally oblivious to Tobias' approach. but a second or third step crunching snow on the ground, shakes her out of it.

His words startling her, Blaze jumps up and seems to be stumbling about trying to get her footing, almost falling over. What?... Whi are...I mean Friend, well maybe, friend of who? she tries to respond a bit frazzled at his sudden appearance.

In the excitement she didn't even notice she stumbled into the fire.

But it seems as though the flames do not bother her at all.

I know she gets fire resistance next level but this is just for story purposes only.

She fumbles about for her dagger finally pulling it out as she holds it backwards (by the blade).

Blaize simply sits be her little fire trying to make the best of her meager meal (dry rations again)

She starts to daydream about the huge meals back at the Academy the roast pork, sweet potatoes covered in brown sugar.

she is oblivious to the approaching individuals and animals.

Having heard the news of the unnatural cold moving in back home, Blaize put aside her studies to return home. though none at the Academy in Katheer knew about her past, there were those back home that might have known.

She hurried back to Heldren to find frost and and snow makinging its way through the area.

Blaize hurried through the streets of Haldren looking for his family. she just felt it in her bones that the Winter Witches had something to do with this. by why punish the whole town, and why now after all these years. surely Blaize would not be any threat to them.

Finding her family safe Blaize believed that her presence was the reason for this winter. she felt the witches were after her and her family.

note that this is 95% untrue but in her mind she does believe this.

Promising to her mother she would put a stop to this. Blaize gathered her things and started to head out. She soon learned that others had already begun the quest to find the source of the cold.

Blaize thanked those of Heldren and gathered any notes or letters they wished to have sent to the previous volunteers that headed out.

In her hurry, Blaize never did learn who the other were. so how she would recognize them is still a mystery. she guessed that they will probably be the ones that were not trying to kill her.

Blaize attempted to follow the trail the prior group took but fresh snow and bitter cold, she lost the trail pretty quick and was soon wandering in the cold lost in the snow covered woods.

Her journey was plagued by constant attacks from foul ice creatures. she recognized some of them. well not from experience but rather from the tomes she studied as well as from stories she heard before fleeing south.

not sure how many days the group has been out but assume Blaize has been search for about that long

She finally found a clearing that seemed suitable for a camp. she gathered what wood she could find a built a small fire it was simple enough to light when fire usually obeys your command.

Balize's inner fire kept her warm most of the time but still the fire light was nice and comforting. maybe the others would spot it.

GM.. sorry I was silent... just got home from a 15 hour shift (no posting from work) (will have to do it again tomorrow as well)

oh the joys of working for the electric company.

I come home and find that a player in one of my other games had suddenly passed away. He was only 33. and to top that off one of my real life friends her father passed very recently as well.

should I post some sort of intro story in gameplay then?

OK so probably knows Mable, has heard of Tobias. everyone else would be new faces then.

ok just wondering how to be introduced.

Looking over things. Blaize has been away for a bit in Katheer. but that being said, Mable probably would have heard of Blaize or at least her family.

When Blaize would come home, and Mable being a baker, she would definitely have visited and tried almost everything Mable had to offer.

Also Blaize would have probably never seen through her disguise. even if she did, Blaize probably didn't care and left things alone (never saying anything)

Blaize is 50 years old (random generated age for a gnome) so she was probably in Heldren for over 10 years (maybe close to 15 or 20) but she has been away in Katheer attending the magic college there for the past 3 or 4 years anyone new to town during that time Blaize would not know very well.

ok all, I have not read any of the gameplay. so when I do start, I will honestly have no knowledge of your prior exploits.

this kind of makes it more realistic not knowing you guys.

however, Blaize did live in Heldren for a few years before leaving for the magic college in Qadira.

So are nay of the party from the town (like grew up there or were frequent visitors?)

Hello all.

well I added a back story to the alias. I think its semi ok, of course you will be the final judge of that.

I really didn't know if you are looking for a light hearted type character or a more serious or even a dark brooding type character.

I can probably go either way.

If the name does not work I can change that and just make a new alias. I went with this name as it was an unused alias I already had.
