Male Human Fighter (Viking) HP 13/13; Initiative+3; Fort+5; Ref+3; Will+0

I'm back! So sorry for being away like that. I've fixed internet and all now so it should work fine from now on!

Sitting down after having ordered some food, Bjarki realizes that it would be a good idea to count his coins. He does not look overly pleased when he looks up from his belt bag.

"Friends, I'm down to 54 Dollars. I don't know about you, but I won't last long on this kind of money.

He turns to Delouse
Are you in need of some assistance of any kind, Mrs Maliozz, or do you know of someone who is? I'm looking for some way to earn some gold you see. I expect to spend a fair bit of gold in this fine establishment as long as I actually have some gold to spend.

Bjarki sits down by the bar as he says that and await the response from the Elf lady. He also does his best not to look flirtatious, although he is bad at hiding it.

Bjarki is highly suspicious of the Goblin newcomer.

To no one in particular:
"Never seen a Goblin like that before, they usually don't come up so high that you can look them in the eye."

Bjarki likes Edren's idea of looking for work and tags along with him.

Bjarki makes a mental note of taking a closer look at the material later when they're not busy unloading.

"Might I suggest that we have a proper contest of strength in the inn tonight when I've got my hands free and a hot meal under me belt?"

Bjarki dumps his stuff, except for his sword and axe, where it is supposed to go and then rejoins the others.

Whoa, sorry, should have clarified that.

But wait, let's think about that.
How fast can we get through a game day?

Hmm, this is a dilemma.

Maybe it should be posting day. Yes, let's try that reward handed out every day of posting, up to five times (you certainly do not have to post five times a day, but with this many characters the chances of five different characters talking to you in one posting day is pretty good). It should be almost simple to earn 50 experience points every day that you are active on the threads.

Sounds like a plan. That's more fair for characters like Sithundan who aren't as outgoing. :)

Yes Sit, that would help!

Bjraki gives a wave to the Halflings and the Caravan leader as he passes by.

Hail! We had an uneventful trip. Where do you want us to unload all our belongings?

Bjarki is quite pleased to finally be here and gives an impressed whistle at the sight of the ruins. He gives Sithundan a friendly nudge as he passes by.
Nice rocks, eh Sit? Poke around the ruins whydont'cha? You might come across some relatives, heh, heh!

He starts unloading his stuff and soon realizes that he has brought to much Ale.
Dolin! Give me a hand with the drink here!

Would Knowledge engineering tell me something interesting about the fort itself?

First round was on me; We were drinking from the cask in my inventory. ;)

Bjarki, who went to get a bunch of foaming tankards rejoins Derrik and Edren, checking carefully that there are no Halflings beneath his feet as he does this. He hands out Ale as he rejoins the conversation.

To Derrik:
"Good! That is the only way to fight; til the end! I can't understand how you can contain your enthusiasm though. Wouldn't one always want to get to the fighting is instead of waiting around for it to come to you?"

To Edren
"Aye you are right! But that is why we need different men for different jobs. I bet that long Guissamme (he mispronounces Guisarme, thanks to all the Ale) is great at keeping those smelly Goblins at bay when the going gets tough."
He slaps his big sword merrily at the thought.
I think we can get a lot done between the three of us alone, Hah!

To Sithundan
Oh we are not for worrying! We be looking forward to the battles to come! Do you want a drink as well?
As the mysterious stranger slumps down, Bjarki offers him a tankard.
To Gruingar:
I think you need another drink. I know how it feels to have good for nothin's in the family GAH !.... Is that your...Pet?

The startled Bjarki quickly puts some distance between himself and the Eidolon.

Sitting among the other adventurers is Bjarki, a giant of a man who looks strong in ways that only experienced sailors do, merrily chatting and drinking as if he didn't have a care in the world.
He spends a lot of time on his appearance, his red beard is extremely well kept and carefully braided and his face is quite well washed for a traveler.

In between drinks and chatter he does some maintenance on his weapons, a Battleaxe, some javelins and a long and very wicked looking sword he refers to as a Langseax (Mechanically speaking it's a Nodachi. He is very impressed of how much Dolin knows about weapons.

He is fascinated by the exotic meditative practices of Derrick and have been asking questions about the nature of them whilst taking notes. Bjarki freely admits that whilst he can see the merits of Derriks physical exercises the ideas behind them is the direct opposite to his own very outgoing, aggressive approach to combat. He is really looking forward to seeing what Derrik can do in battle.

He does like Valind but he's very very worried that he might accidentally trample him underfoot, so being around the Halfling is somewhat unnerving to Bjarki.
