Well, we found this big 'ol tangle of trees with all kinds of twisty, wet tunnels in it. We had to go for a little swim, but came out again in some big hollow area with a wierd hut kind of flashing in and out, like it weren't entirely there, if ya know what I mean.

There wuz some damn fine looking ladies what come out of it and talked to us for a minute. Then that Pelorian priest did some kind of spell and the ladies suddenly put the dead guy, I think his name is Ah-Leph, my boss Andrew, and the young sorcerer with the tinkling ball of light that's always chattin' to him in some kind of transparent box.

The magic guy did some kind of spell and - POOF - they wuz gone. That fine archer, Tysis, with the help of the priest, killed 2 of the ladies - I guess they wuz actually real ugly underneath their magic - and the other took off (we never did catch her).

We found some treasure and stuff inside the hut, but my boss and them other 2 is gone. We don't know where the hell they went!

Hi, I'm Bill the Archer. How ya doin?
Kind of new around these fellas... and ladies. I got me a peice o' work as a bodyguard for that fella Andrew. Nice guy.
We was trudging along and got attacked by some big ol' swamp stompers earlier today. Afterwards, that fella Savaun got mad cuz I looked at the dark skinned fella and I guess they's sweet on each other. Turns out the dark skinned fella... er, uh.. person... ain't actually a fella. He's a she. I said, "That's a lady?" And he got all made and started chasing me around and throwing rocks at me. I was just sayin'...

Some people are so touchy.

Heh. I was married once... Poor lad.

This place is a colossal death trap... First my charge and good friend Thal'talis dies. Now the paladin, this group's champion, is dead at the hands of the worst sort of ghouls I've ever heard tell of (I didn't actually see them).

All seems bleak. I wonder if we'll find what it is we're supposed to find here and live to tell the tale...

I tried my best, by Pelor, but I couldn't protect Thal'Talis from the symbol of death that ended his life. So many oaths left unfulfilled or broken... and this yet another. I pray that whatever blessed rest that young elf goes to, that he is happy and a greater power keeps him safe the way I could not.

I had thought of returning to the west, but this young group of heroes has asked me to continue on with them. Even though I failed my oath to Thal, they still want my help. Hmmm... perhaps I may still be able to do some good. Perhaps by aiding this group in their quest it will satisfy the demands of the oaths I have not fulfilled.

Very well. I continue on with this group lending my strength and wisdom to their cause. Whatever relic it is that they search for in the dungeons of Maure Castle, Tysis will be there to help them recover it!

Ok, Now I am a bit confused, I thought Tysis was an NPC?

Ahh... So NPCs aren't people too? Damn your prejudice!

6 more months... 6 more months... And then this difficult oath I made will be fulfilled.
Damn, this elf! I try to keep him out of harm's way and he just seems to leap at it. I thought he was dead for sure, laying there blackened and raw from the Terrible Iron Golem's fiery breath. A failed oath...
But, no, he yet lives. The others, God's bless them, got to him in time to save him. I'm going to have stick much closer to this elf child if I'm to have any hopes of saving his foolish arse.
