My DM is making the case that Rapid Shot does not apply to thrown weapons because the text says "with a ranged weapon" as opposed to "with ranged weapons". Essentially, he says that drawing another thrown weapon is a second weapon and rapid shot applies to one ranged weapon, such as a longbow or shortbow.
At first level, I'd like to be a human fighter with Quickdraw, Point Blank Shot, and Rapid shot that is a spear thrower. Can someone make the case that Rapid Shot should apply to thrown weapons AND that I would be able to use quickdraw for such an action?
