So im not much of a GM/world builder type so im looking for something that lends itself to the following theme.

Something pulpy. Detectives, rocketmen, archeologist, early non super powered super heroes mixed with a Lovecraftian New England mixed with maybe a hollow earth lost world Jules Verne sort of thing mixed with rockets to mars and venus ERB sort of thing, a Tarzan type africa, mummys and curses in egypt, lost civilizations, cannibals...etc...

Is there a pre-existing setting that fits this bill?

Im looking for a game around the Brenham area or i can drive as far as Katy or College station even...hell, perhaps even austin or houston depending.Pretty much i can only make time on saturday or sunday, i would be hard pressed to make a friday night game.Im 31 and my wife is interested in playing aswell if someone in the area is looking for a couple of players.I prefer to game with people close to my age or older.Ive been playing d&d since the mid 80's but havent been able to the past few years and im looking to get back to it.I havent played in a 3.5 game before but i have the core books plus some and i am fairly familiar with the system.I promise to bring some snacks and ill lift the toilet seat when i use your restroom.

I had this awesome game back in the day.Anyone else remember this game?I have many fond memories of destroying my little sisters castle :).Aparently its been remade and has past my notice untill now!

I was at the flgs yesterday, BCS comics in bryan college station.the lady who owns the store and i were talking about dragon magazine ending and i asked her if she was going to carry the pathfinder stuff.well she didnt know anything about it so i told her about the monthly release and the players guide.i dont know if she plans on stocking it or not.as i dont have a cc or paypal i cant buy stuff off the internet really.
So....ive seen y'all paizo folks here on the boards make post about contacting stores.I was wondering if you could encourage her. :)
