We took a pass last night, maybe some other night this week.

I wasn't sure where to cap the levels, I was reading Demo's stats in the MM (or MMII, can't remember which one he is in), and that sounds about right target wise for levels, I think I was hoping for ~15+ I do have the B/X Companion by Jonathan Becker so I can go to 36 if I really want to :)

I think the challenge for me will be how to make sure the Xp keeps the progression on track for each of the modules to hit the 1-1.5 million xp target by the end. And add to that, while most of the monsters are in the older editions, sometimes their challenge rating/level is off.

But that is part of the fun I guess :)

I plan on starting the AP tonight. The twist is the system. Right now my wife and I are playing B/X D&D once a week or so, and since she is enjoying it, and I really like this AP, I plan on converting the path back to basic D&D. I did "There is no Honor" and it wasn't all that bad. I'd also like to share the stat blocks (for a review or if anyone else is interested) and progress reports- adding to the glory and obit threads :) I just didn't know if there would be any interest in the stat blocks for a B/X game.

So, providing that they all survive the crypt and make it back to town, the PC's will get the message from Kora and be off to Sasserine for a dinner party :)

I see some recent hits to this thread, so I hope they are still available.

I too would like a copy. Although I am also very tempted to run it with a retro clone, but I think my players would balk at the limited PC options, well maybe the younger ones anyway...

Tokens are usually separate files, but I believe if you put them all onto a blank map and then saved the map as a campaign, they would all be in that file- I think. How has running Savage tide with map tools been going?

I am coming to the end of my current campaign (3.0! heh) that we just started to run with Maptools over the internet. We have been using it for 2 sessions now, and it is working out great. Some of us moved (we lost one guy and the 2hr drive was doable once a month or so for everyone else) and we are spread over 3 states now. But the best part is now that we are playing with Maptools over the web, the guy we lost has come back and we can play on a weekday night and avoid the spousal evil eye for stealing weekend days :)

Anyway, once we finish this current campaign, I will probably be running STAP over the internet with Maptools and any advice, etc. would be great!

Figures, the day after I posted the back issues showed up. Must be shipping to the east coast is another extreme distance :)

I still have not received the back issues from this order, they were ordered the 31st of July and shipped the 4th of August.

Thanks
