Helga as a child always felt she was bound for greater things. She was born sickly and never fully recovered. Bullied and teased for being weak. She became resentful. Not able to man the forge as her father and brothers. She tried to be a good family member but a accident at the forge left her right hand scarred and a scar on the right side of her face near the ear. Her mind turned to the only avenue she felt she had left. Magic.
None of the family ever had the ’knack’ As her cousin Blackstone calls it. But she studied hard. If the forge would not grant her the way to power and respect. Magic will.
She believes. although their is no proof of it. that her bloodline is of royalty.
In her hopes of uniting the lesser stock. She can regain what she believe is her rightful claim by assisting the lesser royalty to the sovereign courts cause. Thus in her eventual bid for her rightful claim. They would in turn support her.
Her manners is gruff and often ill tempered. Helga has an unusual knock for fire and can be short tempered. She knows she must bide her time.
She may delve into the priesthood but to only further her goals in magic.
