Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I'll point at the cloack, and go try to open the chest.

No thank you. The Society has a repution in my lands for causing trouble and then fleeing to leave it to others to be dealt with. And for disturning the graves of the honored dead. Very much less than noble of heroic. So, no thank you, sir.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

And while I'm at it, Light and Detect Magic, in all directions. Anyone have any talent with the Heal skill? Mines a whole +3.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I'm going to start making myself an albino croc skin, I don't know something cool.

Grand Lodge

Round 7 (if not later), Init 6 (1)
HP 8/8; AC 16/16T/14FF; +3F/+3R/+6W

Closing my eyes, imagining I hear an old friend's, now dead, voice of wisdom and reason ask me to "trust my feelings" and "use some kind of force", I grip my weapon tightly, sensing my target's motions. Feeling it's energy flow, even though I'm effectivly blind. What do you see beyond your firsts?, I hear. I respond "I don't see anything, you told me to close my eyes" and stuff. The true warrior needs not a weapon, . . Oh hell, I attack. . .

Rose's Kiss: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Followed by a flurry a gator stomps. . .

I AM SICK, . . . OF THESE MFing GATORS, . . . ON THIS MFing TOWER!!!!

Keep in mind you only braught the Trog to 0hp. He is still up, and able to cast (Heal), so not out just yet. Nice shot, though.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

This is normal for these boards. I've been in a game once where ever single player and NPC rolled a natural 1 for their actions that round. That was 5 or 6 people, all rolling a Nat 1, in a row.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Whats the Croc's CMD? If it's not dead on my next action, I'm going to take one for the team and just grapple it, and die letting them pound on it. . . ha ha ha

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I'll attack again. . . Two Weapon Fighting with my Morningstar and Brass Knuckles.

Rose's Kiss: 1d20 ⇒ 2 +1 Str, +1 Bard, +2 Flanking, -4 TWF
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Hope: 1d20 - 8 ⇒ (6) - 8 = -2 +1 Str, +1 Bard, +2 Flanking, -8 TWF
Damage: 1d3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

TWF:
Two-Weapon Fighting
If you wield a second weapon in your off hand, you can get one extra attack per round with that weapon. You suffer a –6 penalty with your regular attack or attacks with your primary hand and a –10 penalty to the attack with your off hand when you fight this way. You can reduce these penalties in two ways. First, if your off-hand weapon is light, the penalties are reduced by 2 each. An unarmed strike is always considered light. Second, the Two-Weapon Fighting feat lessens the primary hand penalty by 2, and the off-hand penalty by 6.

Flurry of Fail!!!

Grand Lodge

Crit Confirm: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (5) - 2 = 3
I hate you. . .

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Round 4, Init 6
HP 8/8; AC 18/18T/16FF; +3F/+3R/+6W

In that case, I will 5ft step UP and RIGHT 1 square to set up Flanking for next round, and simply Attack Fighting Defensively.

Attack: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (20) - 2 = 18
Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 1 = 8

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

So who is up now? Me?

If so, I am going to wait for Filios to come and Flank wth me, and attack.

Attack with Rose's Kiss:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Damage:1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Facepalm!!! Paizo DiceRoller, . . . I HATE YOU SO MUCH! I think I've rolled more "1's" than all other numbers on a d20 combined.

@Beckett - Hm... yeah, ok - my bad. Nothing mentions that the throne provides cover, but makes sense that it does. Might have negated a hit against Tasskar at one point, but that's OK. Your move won't provoke. Sorry!

I was honestly asking. I assumed it would, but no one mentioned it before, so I wanted to make sure is all.

Could someone shift me 3 squares to the left, please.

everyone that hasn't acted yet, PS, please hold off your attacks until after I heal everyone in the room. :(

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

The throne doesn't offer cover in my original square? Even so, I will go ahead and do that.

I foresee a crit on the way followed by a TPK. . .

Cover & AoOs:
Low Obstacles and Cover: A low obstacle (such as a wall no higher than half your height) provides cover, but only to creatures within 30 feet (6 squares) of it. The attacker can ignore the cover if he's closer to the obstacle than his target.

Cover and Attacks of Opportunity: You can't execute an attack of opportunity against an opponent with cover relative to you.
HERE

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I've only got 2, 1d6 heals left. If I use it now, when you really don't even have a chance to hit the thing, it's wasted. We have got to move the fight to something more advantagous, so hopefully the croc moves a little after me, and we can at least start to flank it. As is, I'm going raise you, your going to attempt to get up, get AoO'd and be right back down again or dead, and I have 1 heal left. If we can flank, at least we can parse out the damage for my last heal to make it worth it.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

understand. . .

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Round 3, Init 17
HP 8/8; AC 16/16T/14FF; +3F/+3R/+6W

On my turn

I'm going to move 3 squares to the left and Ready an action to Channel Energy for when the Croc moves. I have a plan, hold off your attacks a moment. I don't have much left, so make it count. . . as I close my eyes a moment and begin to pray, and shepherds we shall be, . . .

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Round 2, Init 17
HP 8/8; AC 16/16T/14FF; +3F/+3R/+6W

Then I shall 5ft step and Aid Another to attempt to get Filios a better chance of landing his next strike.

Attack roll (vs AC 10: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
If successful, Filios next attack against the gator gets a +2

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Hey Filios, can you 5ft step up? (to the right)

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Round 1, Init 17
HP 8/8; AC 16/16T/14FF; +3F/+3R/+6W

Unless Filios does something that would really change this, or something else happens that makes an obvious poor choice. . .

Once Filios goes, and Noran takes his Readied Action, I will move right "behind" Filios and Ready to Cast my

Elysium's Call:
(Su): With a touch, you can imbue creatures with the spirit of Elysium, lifting their spirits and freeing them from bonds. The creatures touched can immediately reroll any failed saving throws against spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment (charm) and enchantment (compulsion) subschools. In addition, targets receive a +2 sacred bonus on such saving throws and a +2 sacred bonus on CMB checks to escape a grapple. Finally, targets can ignore up to 5 feet of difficult terrain each round, as if they had the Nimble Moves feat. These bonuses last for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum 1), although the saving throw reroll only applies when the creature is touched. You can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
, Domain Power in case the croc grapples and destroys him, (or a similar CMB ability), hopefully stopping that.

I'll take the lead beside Filios, I guess.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

ha ha ha

I can bring the healing rain, too, but I am nearly tapped out.

Also going to assume that my spells are gone by the next fight, meaning all of my buffs where completely wasted. :(

The pathfinders have a poor reputation, friend, and honestly, I agree, it is wise to be weary of betrayel in strangers. Don't take it personal. We did unbind you, yes? That means at least we trust ya enough to for that, and enough to give ya the chance ta prove yourself, sir.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

He seems to be tlling the truth and not influenced by magic that alter his will. I don't trust him though.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I'm guessing my spell had 9 rounds left and Quartes's has maybe 4.

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (13) + 9 = 22

and I'll try the key to release him.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Not so sure about that last part. brushing away a little of the air from around is nose. How is it that you know their language, friend?, as I step in to try and release him, still know it's a trap.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Humanoid? I'm guessing a trap. . .

Hey, we got a live one here.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I'm not angry (?), just explaining.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I don't care about the chest, I don't want to waste the buff, and asking and then doing before a responce, (not that I care) isn't really asking.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I just didn't want to waste my spell. I'd say wait on the chest for now.

Hey, a key. I'll go ahead and cast Shield, and try the key on the door.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Just to be clear, there are 3 auras comming from inside the box?

I'm going to search the body, just pocket the box for now, cast Sheild, and go open the door, if that doesn't interupt anyone elses actions.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Thank you.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

If combat is over already:
If there is nothing to fight, I will not cast Sheild, but rather Detect Magic again.

Perception - 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
No Spellcraft

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Can I cast a spell before they open the door? Shield of Faith on Quartes.

Init 8,
HP8/8, AC: 16/T: 12/FF: 14, Conditions/Effects: Light 8 rounds

Cast Shield, and then Move to a Flanking position, hopefully one I can catch others in a Channel blast if needed. (waiting to see what is open, but just in case I can't post later.)

HP8/8, AC: 20/T: 12/FF: 18, Conditions/Effects: Light 8 rounds, Shield 10 rounds)

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I'm going to go ahead and renew my Light, Cast Detect Magic and scan the doors we where being led towards, and stow my shield.

MAP

Can someone move be besides Filios, please?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I'll take the time to make sure that they will not bleed to death, and secure them down. I'm not at all certain, to be honest. I thought it was trying to cast a spell to run faster. Maybe we should move them out of view?

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Round 2. HP8, AC: 16/T: 12/FF: 14, Init 11 <1>

With a quirck of the eye showing he very much disporves of the cowardly and brutish methods, I'll step over to tag team with Filios and try to knock it out with non-leathal damge.

Attack: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (5) - 3 = 2
Nonlethal Damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

By which I mean fail miserably.

GM Sean wrote:
I had asked you twice to play out a delay or readied action in character, but that seemed to be ignored. If you want to ready to "heal or something," you need to specify the action you'll take and under what conditions you take it.

Sorry, not trying to be snarky, that's just a phrase I use to say I ready an action to heal in case some gets hit hard enough to drop/die.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Originally I said skip my action, but that seemed to be ignred. I said above ready to heal? Is that not ok either? I'll ready an action to go full defensive.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

It just seems that I'm used to a different play style. I'm going to try not to disrupt the game, but I find it odd that everyone seems to be unfamiliar with talking things out or not fighting everything. Is that true?

<I don't mean that as an accusation>

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

I'll ready my action to heal or something. I just have an issue with stabbing things in the back, even if they are evil. It's not heroic to me.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

My point was that our mission was to just explore this place. Not slaughter or clear it out. I was assuming that we could talk to whoever is here rather than fight them all. The burt corpses indicate that it is likely they are new here as well, and as Trogs are typically either underground or more marine, I would assume they are not wanting to be here, per se.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Even I think that's pretty cold.

Grand Lodge

Male Half-Elf Vigilante-Priest 1

Combat really hasn't start yet. But a Nat 1 means I almost made them less than unfriendly.
