![]() I'll point at the cloack, and go try to open the chest. No thank you. The Society has a repution in my lands for causing trouble and then fleeing to leave it to others to be dealt with. And for disturning the graves of the honored dead. Very much less than noble of heroic. So, no thank you, sir. ![]()

![]() Round 7 (if not later), Init 6 (1)
Closing my eyes, imagining I hear an old friend's, now dead, voice of wisdom and reason ask me to "trust my feelings" and "use some kind of force", I grip my weapon tightly, sensing my target's motions. Feeling it's energy flow, even though I'm effectivly blind. What do you see beyond your firsts?, I hear. I respond "I don't see anything, you told me to close my eyes" and stuff. The true warrior needs not a weapon, . . Oh hell, I attack. . . Rose's Kiss: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (16) + 4 = 20
Followed by a flurry a gator stomps. . . I AM SICK, . . . OF THESE MFing GATORS, . . . ON THIS MFing TOWER!!!! ![]()

![]() I'll attack again. . . Two Weapon Fighting with my Morningstar and Brass Knuckles. Rose's Kiss: 1d20 ⇒ 2 +1 Str, +1 Bard, +2 Flanking, -4 TWF
Hope: 1d20 - 8 ⇒ (6) - 8 = -2 +1 Str, +1 Bard, +2 Flanking, -8 TWF
TWF:
Two-Weapon Fighting
If you wield a second weapon in your off hand, you can get one extra attack per round with that weapon. You suffer a –6 penalty with your regular attack or attacks with your primary hand and a –10 penalty to the attack with your off hand when you fight this way. You can reduce these penalties in two ways. First, if your off-hand weapon is light, the penalties are reduced by 2 each. An unarmed strike is always considered light. Second, the Two-Weapon Fighting feat lessens the primary hand penalty by 2, and the off-hand penalty by 6. Flurry of Fail!!! ![]()

![]() GM Sean wrote: @Beckett - Hm... yeah, ok - my bad. Nothing mentions that the throne provides cover, but makes sense that it does. Might have negated a hit against Tasskar at one point, but that's OK. Your move won't provoke. Sorry! I was honestly asking. I assumed it would, but no one mentioned it before, so I wanted to make sure is all. Could someone shift me 3 squares to the left, please. everyone that hasn't acted yet, PS, please hold off your attacks until after I heal everyone in the room. :( ![]()

![]() The throne doesn't offer cover in my original square? Even so, I will go ahead and do that. I foresee a crit on the way followed by a TPK. . . Cover & AoOs: Low Obstacles and Cover: A low obstacle (such as a wall no higher than half your height) provides cover, but only to creatures within 30 feet (6 squares) of it. The attacker can ignore the cover if he's closer to the obstacle than his target.
Cover and Attacks of Opportunity: You can't execute an attack of opportunity against an opponent with cover relative to you.

![]() I've only got 2, 1d6 heals left. If I use it now, when you really don't even have a chance to hit the thing, it's wasted. We have got to move the fight to something more advantagous, so hopefully the croc moves a little after me, and we can at least start to flank it. As is, I'm going raise you, your going to attempt to get up, get AoO'd and be right back down again or dead, and I have 1 heal left. If we can flank, at least we can parse out the damage for my last heal to make it worth it. ![]()

![]() Round 3, Init 17
On my turn I'm going to move 3 squares to the left and Ready an action to Channel Energy for when the Croc moves. I have a plan, hold off your attacks a moment. I don't have much left, so make it count. . . as I close my eyes a moment and begin to pray, and shepherds we shall be, . . . ![]()

Unless Filios does something that would really change this, or something else happens that makes an obvious poor choice. . . Once Filios goes, and Noran takes his Readied Action, I will move right "behind" Filios and Ready to Cast my Elysium's Call: , Domain Power in case the croc grapples and destroys him, (or a similar CMB ability), hopefully stopping that. (Su): With a touch, you can imbue creatures with the spirit of Elysium, lifting their spirits and freeing them from bonds. The creatures touched can immediately reroll any failed saving throws against spells and spell-like abilities of the enchantment (charm) and enchantment (compulsion) subschools. In addition, targets receive a +2 sacred bonus on such saving throws and a +2 sacred bonus on CMB checks to escape a grapple. Finally, targets can ignore up to 5 feet of difficult terrain each round, as if they had the Nimble Moves feat. These bonuses last for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum 1), although the saving throw reroll only applies when the creature is touched. You can use this ability for a number of rounds per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier. ![]()

![]() ha ha ha I can bring the healing rain, too, but I am nearly tapped out. Also going to assume that my spells are gone by the next fight, meaning all of my buffs where completely wasted. :( The pathfinders have a poor reputation, friend, and honestly, I agree, it is wise to be weary of betrayel in strangers. Don't take it personal. We did unbind you, yes? That means at least we trust ya enough to for that, and enough to give ya the chance ta prove yourself, sir. ![]()

![]() Can I cast a spell before they open the door? Shield of Faith on Quartes. Init 8,
Cast Shield, and then Move to a Flanking position, hopefully one I can catch others in a Channel blast if needed. (waiting to see what is open, but just in case I can't post later.) HP8/8, AC: 20/T: 12/FF: 18, Conditions/Effects: Light 8 rounds, Shield 10 rounds) ![]()

![]() Round 2. HP8, AC: 16/T: 12/FF: 14, Init 11 <1> With a quirck of the eye showing he very much disporves of the cowardly and brutish methods, I'll step over to tag team with Filios and try to knock it out with non-leathal damge. Attack: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (5) - 3 = 2
By which I mean fail miserably. ![]()

![]() GM Sean wrote: I had asked you twice to play out a delay or readied action in character, but that seemed to be ignored. If you want to ready to "heal or something," you need to specify the action you'll take and under what conditions you take it. Sorry, not trying to be snarky, that's just a phrase I use to say I ready an action to heal in case some gets hit hard enough to drop/die. ![]()

![]() My point was that our mission was to just explore this place. Not slaughter or clear it out. I was assuming that we could talk to whoever is here rather than fight them all. The burt corpses indicate that it is likely they are new here as well, and as Trogs are typically either underground or more marine, I would assume they are not wanting to be here, per se.
