Thank you both kindly. I figured as much but just wanted to double check cause there have been times that I thought I fully understood an ability/rule, go into session one, and then have my DM tell me that it doesn't work that way. Saves me the embarrassment.

Hello all, I was trying to build a Brawling Blademaster and was curious how Harmonious Flow and Improved Two-Weapon Fighting or Greater Two-Weapon Fighting worked together? It seems to me that you only take the -5 and then the -10 but I could also see how it'd be a -3 and a -8 instead.

Harmonious Flow:
Harmonious Flow (Ex): At 4th level, the brawling blademaster becomes skilled at combining weapon attacks and unarmed strikes into a harmonious combat style. When attacking the target of her challenge, the brawling blademaster doesn’t take the usual –2 penalty on attack rolls associated with attacking with two weapons if her main-hand weapon is a light or one-handed manufactured weapon and her off-hand weapon is an unarmed strike (or vice versa). While she’s using this ability, one of her hands must be empty even if she uses another body part to make an unarmed strike.

Improved Two-Weapon Fighting:
You are skilled at fighting with two weapons.

Prerequisites: Dex 17, Two-Weapon Fighting, base attack bonus +6.

Benefit: In addition to the standard single extra attack you get with an off-hand weapon, you get a second attack with it, albeit at a –5 penalty.

Normal: Without this feat, you can only get a single extra attack with an off-hand weapon.

Greater Two-Weapon Fighting:
You are incredibly skilled at fighting with two weapons at the same time.

Prerequisites: Dex 19, Improved Two-Weapon Fighting, Two-Weapon Fighting, base attack bonus +11.

Benefit: You get a third attack with your off-hand weapon, albeit at a –10 penalty.

Thank you!
