About Balugarom Twiddlestick

Backstory:
Balugarom wanders among the remnants that were was once his home, the trees rose high above the forest floor as he picked between the darkened patches of ground where beds ... where people once laid. Kneeling down to examine the dirt he found the ground clawed and churned with the imprints of heavy booted feet and desperate hands scrabbling for freedom. Whoever or whatever had taken his people would pay. For the first time in his life he felt sadness.

That was two years ago, he never found what happened to his family. Though he seldom dreams of vengeance anymore having learned to embrace the soothing and yet powerful charms of nature and its bounties. He prays to no one, believing that to pray is to be controlled. He does not believe in being controlled.

He lived this way until he awoke to find a young wolf nestled between his arms. Balugarom named him ShadowStride, for his ability to silently stalk and hunt within the shade of the trees. Now Balugarom searches for adventure and with ShadowStride at his side he is sure that he will find it.

Looks:
Balugarom wears a bird’s nest hat, with leather straps that tie below the chin, above a shock of green hair; one overly large eyebrow is a deep hue of brown while the other is a shady green. His skin is a coppery brown with flecks of darker green and with similarly stained armour and clothing he blends in to his natural environment of the forest.

ShadowStride is dark grey with a dark black patch painting the front of his nose and around his yellow eyes. When not sleeping or being stroked from Balugarom, he wears a predatory grin that pointedly shows his razor sharp fangs.
