Say for the sake I couldn't join, what we ye do? He eyes the pouch, doing a quick estimate on the length of journey ahead if that was his travel expenses Will assume a similar response of a large personal donation to Balic's coffer. That's a mighty fine sack of coinage there lad, but like I said before I have a reason to get away. He grabs the purse and map, stowing them for later. Well, since we have a bargain struck, I thinks we need to shake on it to seal the deal as it were. As he shakes the man's hand he looking as innocent as he can, he tests the man a bit, seeing if his handshake is one equal to his own. Just want to see if I'm not being "fooled", just a simple who's got the stronger grip kinda game. A bluff check to make him look like he's not totally aware of what he's doing, then I'm thinking of a simple opposing str checks. DMs choice if he wants to play along bluff: 1d20 - 3 ⇒ (9) - 3 = 6

Why not, I'm not in the mood to hang around at the moment. Balic looks around, I just need to grab the rest of my gear, and finish this bottle of rum, so why don't we hurry upon that and start this grand adventure that your offering. As he goes to refill both of their tankards, So what can you tell me about this Captain NeMoren, the key or yerself?
Here we go, took a little bit of time but its done.... I hope Background Lite:
Please find a better background in the profile area. At least the most recent, life changing event in his life. The lite version is here though.
Balic is part of a clan of Bear Warriors, dwarf berserkers that seem to manifest bear like qualities. Raised by his grandfather the Clan Cheif, he finds himself on a patrol when they get ambushed. With the ambush are two hill giants, one his grand father almost mauls to death before the other seems to beat him off with a literal "stick". Driving Balic into his own rage, he finishes off the first before facing the second. Going into a blind rage, he awakes to find the creature dead at his own hands, himself badly hurt and his grandfather dying. Upon his deathbed, Balic is giving the key only being told that its his turn to carry it. If needed his childhood, is that of training and apprenticing as a weapon and armour smith. But other then that nothing note worthy. Pic Here |
