what does the standard method mean?

I've looked though the books several times. I just don't know how to do their base abilities for pathfinder society

sorry I meant for Pathfinder Society Is it different?

What do I use for the the ability scores? Like is it like 20 points like in pathfinder first ed? I'm been looking for it for a while now and I can't find anything about it. I'm sure you won't let us just roll states because people would lie. SO, I was wondering if someone can help me.

So today I was playing pathfinder today when I got a call saying a loved one had died. I was too upset to keep playing so I left in the middle of it. Do I still count as playing that one or what happened? I didn't get a chronicle sheet or anything.I'm just not what you do with my situation.

So if I take eldrich heritage to get my bard a familiar, will I still be able to take improved familiar when I hit level seven bard?

My favorite is the druid's animal companion.

There was one I played where one person wanted to kill everyone, and we had one of them knocked out not dead, and the person wanted to kill that person too but it was for a faction mission for someone else. The player said it would be what his character would do, but the dm told him he couldn't do it because it would mess up someone's faction so he just couldn't do it.

I've never had a gm want to play my animal companion o make them go on a different int.

I know most hexes state that they can only be used on a person once in 24 hours. The ward hex does not state that in its description I'm wondering if that means I can use it on the same person more than once on the same person in 24 hours or not.

So I have a tiefling winter witch and I was wondering about the cold resistance that goes along with that. Tieflings already have cold resistance 5, so when a winter witch gains 5 does my tiefling then have cold resistance 10, or does nothing happen with that until the winter witch gets 10 and then my tiefling get 10?

So, one of my current favorite characters I'm playing is a Hafling Druid with a Roc companion. The problem I'm having is finding a mini for anything close to a M size roc. Anyone have any ideas on this?

critical fumbles are already only house rules. They're not aloud in Pathfinder Society at least.

in the advanced players guide, and I know the blood of angels and blood of fiends books talk about how common they are among those races. I think if you looked through all of them you could see how common they were over all. It think varies a lot during the different races how common or what they would think about it.

You can change all of the evolutions each level including the base form. You can't do it between levels, but you can every time you level

If you're going to be channeling at all, I would go with the selective channeling right away. There was a cleric in the party with me once that used channel to help some of our dying players, but since they didn't have selective channeling they brought back to positive hot points one of the people were had already taken down and then had to taken them down again. It sounds like you do have a lot of damage, and channeling can be very helpful, so that's what I would do.

I don't really have many options when it comes to going to cons, so if someone is feeling really awesome I'd love to get a kitsune, sylph or anything I suppose, so I could do something fun and different. I, sadly, don't really have anything to trade for it, but it would amazing and what not if someone had an extra one they don't need or something...

You can't use any magic to get around a curse in pfs. I play a haunted oracle, and it doesn't even matter if I use my bag of holding where things are automatically on the top of the bag, it still makes her a turn to find things because that's how it works. Besides, I think it defeats the purpose of an oracle to not have their curse. If you don't want to deal with the curse play a cleric.

I have a couple stories, all from different dms.

My first one was actually from 3.5. I was excited to be playing dnd since I'd been wanting to do something like that for a while. I'm just handed a character and told to play a rouge. Everything is going fine until the dm decides my character is suddenly being raped by bugbears. I did not get a save, did not get to do anything to see this coming or even have a chance to stop it. She was just getting raped by bugbears and I wasn't aloud to do anything until the other characters in the party killed all of the bugbears. Mind you I was the only female player there.

The second one was also 3.5. I was playing a rouge whose back story had it saying she had done a little prostitution in her past, but didn't do it any longer by the time the compain started. The dm, against my will, made my character still sleep with anything that moved, included a horse at one point, always had her get stds, no say in the matter ever. My character, that I talked with the dm about, had stopped doing stuff like that to have a better life as an adventurer but nope, I didn't have a choice in the matter and my character just did whatever the dm thought would be funny. If it wasn't the only compain I was in with my friends, or if I didn't like the other characters role playing skills I would have quit this one.

The third one is something on the same lines, but with a different dm and actually playing pathfinder. I was doing a 14 year old, clouded vision oracle. It was annoying to deal with arguing with my dm about him saying I could see things when my character clearly couldn't but I could deal with that. My character had the trait charming. Because I had that trait, my dm decided that my character was clearly trying to sleep with every character that I used diplomacy on. He would also tell me exactly how my character was doing it, even though I would tell him that I didn't want her to be doing that, that he let me play a child character so I wouldn't need to deal with stuff like that, but nope again I didn't have a choice in the matter.

I mean, it's hard enough with the fact a lot of the time I'm the only girl playing in my groups. I don't understand why my dms, all different dms in the above stories, have to do stuff like this to my characters. It annoys me and one of them had done something similar to a friend of mine and now she refuses to ever play any table top rps ever again.
