Blob of aberrant goo
![]() I figured you needed two for the right side door, what with two lights next to the door as opposed to one for each of top and bottom. Part of the reason I went to the bottom with Mint and I to start the next chain off to get that door open. Anyway.. BLOB ends up summoning a lantern archon that flies above the room. It flies way above the bunnies and begins to shoot them to bits. BLOB waits for the lantern archon to eradicate the battlefield. Possibly summoning another one if he feels it is taking too long. BLOB casts guidance every few seconds to increase the chance of the archon speeding up his killing. When the ground is clear it will hop onto the next platform in the chain be it on the way to the upper sensor or lower one to the door on the right and repeat. Mint will aid him by continuing the chain. The lantern archon(s) will continue to clear the ground of bunnies each time the platforms go up. BLOB bobs his head up and down watching the bunnies get disintegrated by light beams saying. "Is this really meant to prove anything I wonder?" He mimics a yawn, after all BLOB doesn't have lungs. "A room full of dead bunnies, I guess we are just the lab's new painters." I can summon each archon for 50 rounds. Each getting a potential of two hits on every turn. I really don't want to roll every attack while I do this as neither my summon, Mint nor I can get hit in this process. So can we just say the rabbits die? summon: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5 When all the bunnies are dead underneath the route BLOB wants he summons a total of 5 Eagles, combined with 1 lantern archon, BLOB and Mint that take the total to 8. Since he needs 9 people to complete the chain he asks. Oy, you two!" He gestures at Toxicroak and Svitz. "One of you get on the remaining platforms so we can get out of here. I'm bored of looking at the walls in this room." 9 is the minimum number of platforms to get the right door open, if what I understand is the right why to do this. I count as 8 life forms currently so if either Svitz or Toxicroak helps we can get the door open. That enough to get us out of here? ![]()

![]() BLOB is slowly getting annoyed at this pointless charade. He wants to see if he can just draw away the rabbits to make these lines work. BLOB spends his time summoning some monsters to grab the bunnies and move them away. So spend an action summoning, I believe the monsters start moving next round. Also honestly isn't most of this; move platform up, get bunnies away or kill them, light goes on? Then follow track to a door light. Are we going to need to spell out every action to do that? I mean we basically had that on the far east except I think there were still bunnies there .. or something? I'm getting confused as you said it should light up but when Mint jumped off it isn't lit up. There is some red sun there that I don't understand either. ![]()
Blob of aberrant goo
![]() Ah the light is up, looks like the bunnies don't matter. Mint you lazy dog. Get over to that platform over there! Mint jumps off the platform and scampers to the one on the bottom left. Running away from the horde of bizarre bunnies. Control room: BLOB won't show aggression to its teammates as long as it finds them useful. A half-elf scientist states. "Like I said prior it makes sure that others fight its battles for it. I take it due to the weakness of the the base creature itself. That or it finds them interesting, BLOB gets bored easy and does continues what it likes. I am guessing by previous observation it finds Svitz's habits of wanting to eat the rabbits as something fun. So it encourages that behaviour. Maybe BLOB will eventually even encourage Toxicroak's berserk behaviour unless it too is caught in the cross fire. Time will tell... ![]()
Blob of aberrant goo
![]() "Does someone else want to eat those bunnies? Or shall we just continue forming these points of data to make a beautiful line?" BLOB asks the rest of the group. "Actually the platform Mint is on hasn't lit up yet. Okay someone kill them now. Maybe something will happen." BLOB looks on anticipating a change to come soon. ![]()
Blob of aberrant goo
![]() BLOB is sitting patiently as the group dispatches more rabbits while asking them. "Why rabbits? What is the point of this, they aren't acting very well as guardians if this is the case. They are in all honesty not much of challenge to the brutish lot here?" BLOB asks in Svitz's voice. ![]()

![]() I miscalculated my initiative, it should be +13 still makes me go first in this case however. BLOB shrugs and corrects his non-existent glasses. "Ah well more bunnies, oi big guys. Have fun..." BLOB casts haste on all party members + Mint piece, except himself since its only 5 targets. ![]()

BLOB nods a couple of times. "Mint piece seems to be noticing gaps in the circles so that you can move them. There is the tiny creatures beneath them. Or so she thinks. oh ho ho, maybe someone should stand on that circle over there." The bunny headed scientist points the closest circle to him. BLOB gives a swift kick to Mint and she does it for him, she waits for it to rise as BLOB observes. "Aha, there go see there are bunnies down there. Maybe like the one from the last room? Mint come down from there before you hurt yourself." Mint jumps off. control room: A half-elf scientist fixes his glasses and says "As expected like always BLOB doesn't want to do any of the work himself, always using others so itself doesn't get hurt when it feels the least bit threatened. Likely it is actually terrified of the large creatures but has gotten good at acting like a buffoon." ![]()

![]() Yes though nothing in disable device or "complete with feet" stops it being able to pick up stuff or use the tools. The rules forum has agreed with this before, which is what I'm running off. If you feel more comfortable with the summon being another guy in a lab coat (humanoid) I have no problem with it. The scientist with a bunny head looks up at the tree "Now, now, trees are a minority species. Why would we bother with doors made for you. Just go with what we made.. mmmmhmmm." BLOB then follows its 'allies' into the next room. ![]()

![]() There's nothing stopping an eidolon having thumbs on their feet, or making it so they can hold stuff in their tail or legs (just not weapons). I can be serpentine or bipedal if you want instead but considering it changes nothing else the creature does (especially since this Eidolon is just a skill user and nothing else,) and isn't required by RAW for it to use disable device I'll leave that decision to you. BLOB continues to look at the rest of his crew deal with this button, he doesn't seem to care how long it takes them to advance from this place. ![]()
Blob of aberrant goo
![]() Mint piece will still be doing what I posted, though not the sense motive as the bunny being aggressive is noted. I have the sneaky suspicion this room is still trapped we are in a crazy science lab after all. BLOB confident that his four other companions are more built for combat than him he continues to take notes on his turn. His head changing to match the bunny in front of them, albeit it bigger. Move action, write notes. Standard action, change form. ![]()

![]() With regards to the buff I think it would just be better for GM's call really, as we're all one round apart for the buff. Mint piece, the small blue dog enters the room at BLOB's behest to investigate. It does so while trying not to draw the evil bunny's intention. If there are any traps that Mine piece spots it will disable it. perception: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21

![]() BLOB transforms into a spitting image of another scientist. A half-elf with a lab coat. "I thank you Keriann for adding the appropriate enhancements to Mint piece." The scientist scribbles something on a a clipboard. "We shall now performing a docking experiment, do these ligands that we have here dock well to the upcoming binding site? Or shall the protein explode through incorrect force calculations. Namely that the force of the ligand is too great for the OPLS forcefields of the protein to handle. I predict if they are, possibly by the end of frame 4 do we have a breakdown of the encapsulating system." The scientist pauses. "Minimisation complete, experiment to be performed without the presence of stabilizing liquid such as water. Begin." The scientist walks up behind Keirann waiting for the door to open. ![]()
Blob of aberrant goo
![]() BLOB turns into the same bear-like humanoid as Keirann and parrots what she is saying. "Hello. My designation is Keriann Caitlan. Designation and purpose?" It the shifts back into an ooze slowly working its way towards the owl again. The small blue dog barking and following its host body. @Karnicore: I think you're in the wrong chamber. ![]()
Blob of aberrant goo
![]() A metallic ooze flows out from beneath a pod. It transforms into a spitting image of Svitz, albeit smaller than him. It then performs the same task as Svitz tapping the metal creature on the head and moving to get its stuff. Once it has it gleans a metallic colour and its innate defenses are cast. Casting mage armour. The smaller Svitz looks around at its "Allies" then sees there is one more his size, then transforms into a spitting image of Keriann. The tentacles are unable to be used as well but they look just as menacing. The new Keriann rips a part of its face off and a throws it to the floor. Out of this blob comes a small blue dog with a red ruby it its forehead. The pair of them then wait quietly to see what the good doctor will do. ![]()
![]() @Lacuna: So that makes flurry worse than multiattack with more arms, that's kind of stupid. Oh well, you can still do what Raijin was hoping by using multiattack and taking master of many styles using the style feats on your claws instead with feral combat training. That was how BITE was getting lots of strength to his hits. ![]()
![]() The extra arms won't give you more iterative attacks, even when you go up in level. However if you use feral combat training and have claws on all your arms they all count towards using Flurry of blows. Again though those two extra arms won't give you more than one extra attack as they don't gain bonus attacks from iterative attacks. ![]()
![]() Well there is this: Feral combat training It was what I was using with BITE's original build. |
