I am currently going through the build and it looks like you added Lightning Snares at level 12 without having Master in Crafting.

As mentioned, I've been wanting to do some different sorts of characters, so here is one from another RPG I immensely enjoyed - Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn!

Drawing upon dubious sources for what might be another Chinese monster, I give you the lili!

Just a reminder, technically the Returned Background gives you the Additional Lore feat in regards to Boneyard Lore, so your Boneyard Lore skill's proficiency should be scaling up automatically.

I'm back with another build of a character from League of Legends, this time attempting to make Sion, the Undead Juggernaut!

I'm going to try to do Aloy from Horizon: Zero Dawn next week.

Going back to the world of Monster Hunter with a twofer, here's gore and shagaru magala!

Yeah, that could definitely still work. Might be a fun little encounter in a game - a dokkaebi run tavern. Maybe he hires the heroes to get some exotic spices for him or something.

By having create food at will the goblin might be able to run a tavern without paying any food.

I could definitely see that. A tavern with a wrestling ring in it. Though per the spell, the food isn’t terribly good.

Back on track with the tour of Asian monsters, this time we're stopping over in South Korea to check out the Korean goblin - the dokkaebi!

Fighter with the Bard Dedication is honestly exactly what I was hoping you would do going into this. I'm a huge fan of this build.

...Is it on purpose for the meme value that at the very end you refer to it as a build of Zelda, though? :P

I did it! I got Link done for this week and am happy to get the chance to post him. This one is based off of the Link from Ocarina of Time so come check out the Hero of Time!

They were beefy boys, just not proportional. Also, realized my response was a little ‘ackchyually.’ Sorry about that - I just think the Tyrannosaurus rex is real neat.

It has such tiny arms. Even though the creature is so huge I bet a buff human could arm-wrestle it.

Actually, some studies a while back suggest that despite its piddly arms, the Tyrannosaurus rex was jacked and might have been able to curl as much as 430 pounds with a single arm. This is admittedly mostly theory since we only have skeletons left of them, but some bright people have floated this idea about.

Back on the right track and rounding out the elder dinosaurs from Rivals of Ixalan, here is Zacama, Primal Calamity!

Looks great, nice job with this! I like the choice to make Tasigur a bard. That gives you some interesting options, since shaman isn't currently a PF2 class. I suppose oracle could have fit as well, but bard gets you the occult spell list which seems more fitting.

Thanks! Yeah, bard felt like a good fit to me. And the occult tradition felt like such a perfect representation of black, blue, and green colors.

Your creature is advertised in its lore as some kind of boss monster specifically loosed by the gods, and not some random high level minion creature, but has no defense against magic or flight which a boss monster would need. Permanent full party flight comes around level 16.

Tool-using humanoids and random fodder don't need it. They can use ranged weapons and mgic items, or they're supposed to be easy.

It has SR as its defense against magic and there are a handful of creatures of CR 18 that don't have ranged capabilities. Making a monster off of a card is a delicate line between making it functional and keeping it true to the source. I ended up leaning more towards the latter.

Working on making a martial arts tournament type adventure for some of my buds, and while Pathfinder is great for featuring monsters from cultures other than the standard European myth, they're still missing out on some good ones. So, this is my first of a couple Asian monsters I'm gonna be making - the kuchisake-onna!

You could also imitate the rat swarms using a few choice swarm-based scrolls and Trick Magic Item skill feat.

Very good point! When I was building this, I originally wasn't thinking about items at all. I'm inclined to switch out a general feat for that, but you might be able to work it in earlier with in place of a different skill feat.

Maybe I'm just being nitpicky, but not going Shadowdancer on Akali?

I haven't played in a bit so maybe she was reworked, but her ult and twilight shroud are pretty much on the nose Shadowdancer abilities (wasn't it literally called "Shadowdance" before?).

Don't get me wrong Rogue -> Assassin -> Shadowdancer, but not having Shadowdancer is big sad for me personally. Just wondering if it was considered.

That isn't a bad suggestion, but what feat are you thinking for replicating her Twilight Shroud? The smokestick feels right to me since that's what it is.

Shadowdancer kinda slipped from my mind, but I feel content with the choices I made.

Cool build. Like the talisman bit to emulate his necklace passives. Would be cool to see your item build and from a functional standpoint for play at many levels maybe go i to Two-weapon warrior earlier.

Yeah, I thought it was a decent enough fit! Yeah, that's completely understandable. But I kinda like doing these builds without trying to puzzle out all the magical gear as well. If I do, I'll probably just start picking the appropriately leveled items for each level.

As a huge fan of Rengar, this is really cool, and feels fairly accurate to the character. Well done!

I honestly admire your dedication for being able to do this every week. I think this one falls closer to the beast category than animal. Animals are typically not monstrous creatures at all. They're largely based on real life animals.

Thanks! These are honestly fun to do and it's easy to share them. I feel as though that could go either way. After seeing that giant eagles and girallons are magical beasts, I felt fine making this guy one.

Gonna try to vary it up between original and franchise monsters. The original monster posting is so slow because I don't have art for many of them. Is that a dealbreaker for you guys? Should I wait to post original stuff with art or just post it without?

Two things I noticed:

- It would either be Stunned 3 or Stunned for 1 round... not both
- PF2 doesn't do mixed damage types (bludgeoning, slashing and piercing). Or is that 4d12 damage each (so 12d12 per Gold Rush)? Probably not. I'd go with only bludgeoning only or specify that it's 1/3rd damage for each type.

I'm glad you like it! It was a blast to make and I have to apologize for that. I really enjoy puns and alliteration.
