No worries. It is really up to you. I don't think that any of us mind the game going slowly, or we would have already dropped. I don't think there is any time pressure. I am okay if you want to end the game though, too. You won't be disappointing me... I have a lot of games, and I'll be happy either way. :)

Okay. Azlana sees them gambling for body parts and decides it isn't worth talking. She shoots at the closest one. Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 2 - 2 = 9 (favored enemy, rapid shot)
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 + 2 = 6

Azlana could certainly sympathize with Lina's perspective, and didn't want to disappoint her, but Azlana felt like the guy was sending off signals that he wanted to change... He wasn't attacking them, and he seemed to have a conscience. She wanted to make sure he had the room and the support to change his ways, if that is what he chose. I mean, obviously, if he attacked them or started murdering the good guys, she would shoot him in the head... but for now, it seemed to be going well, and she wanted to give it a chance. So, she remained silent, hoping that this wouldn't harm her friendship with Lina. She waited while the others went in to scout.

You sound like you should be a Kurgess worshipper. He's all about competition and proving that you are right... maybe you should look into it. The good side has some nice perks. No guilt trips, always knowing you are morally superior... that would be a good one for you. :) Good friends too. :) She smiles again. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26 Who are you taking down next? Want some company?

I'm down by 9, but I can channel to help everyone, and then you can get anyone who needs more if you want. Azlana gathers everyone up and channels to heal, happening to do it close enough so that the armored man can take advantage of the healing as well, and moves any bad guy bodies that might not be all the way dead out of the way. Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4 Whoops, we better do that again. Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (5, 6) = 11 Better. Everyone healed for 15. Then she says to the armored man You're pretty good at the whole fighting evil thing. You should join up with us and be one of the good guys. She smiles. She's joking around with him, giving him a safe way to laugh it off if he wants to, but she is really trying to sound him out to see if he might want to, you know, do the Darth Vader thing and reject the dark side in the end. Diplomacy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (19) + 9 = 28

Azlana shoots at the remaining howler: Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 2 - 2 = 9 (rapid shot)
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 2 = 10
After the howler is dead (obviously not due to her efforts) she waits to see what the armored man will do.

I saw in the discussion that I don't need to make the save (thanks Lina--had no idea I was immune). Azlana shoots at one of the remaining demons: Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 7 + 2 - 2 = 26 (rapid shot)
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 + 2 = 11

Azlana, instead of attacking again, moves northwest, making sure to stay far enough away from the bad guys to not get within attack range. She then channels to heal her party. Channel: 2d6 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6 Should get all of the allies since my character can see the outside corner of Hanna's square. Unfortunately, it gets most of the bad guys too. No selective channel, and even if I had it, it wouldn't cover all the enemies in range. Hoping that keeps Shayde up, but if you need more, Shayde, walk over to my character and I will give you a direct heal.

Azlana shoots at the demon to the north of her position, trying to take the pressure off Lina. Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 + 2 - 2 = 27 (rapid shot)
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 2 = 9
Crit Confirm: 1d20 + 7 + 2 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 7 + 2 - 2 = 16 Might not confirm, but here's the damage just in case. :) Crit Damage: 2d8 + 4 + 4 ⇒ (1, 7) + 4 + 4 = 16

Azlana shoots again at the same thing, even though it moved to attack Ueto instead. Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 - 2 = 6 (rapid shot, and +2 if evil outsider)
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 (and +2 if evil outsider)
Looks like two misses. I'm going to have to start bribing dicebot. :)

Azlana steps back again, a little worried that she is going to be backed into the wall, but still determined not to let that happen. She continues to shoot at the thing attacking her. Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 - 2 = 6 (rapid shot, and +2 if evil outsider)
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 (and +2 if evil outsider)
Female Aasimar Inactive
Azlana shoots again, twice in rapid succession at the thing to the north. Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (15) + 7 - 2 = 20 (and +2 if evil outsider)
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 (and +2 if evil outsider)

Azlana takes a serious wound, but she simply takes a step back and shoots again, twice in rapid succession. Attack 1: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 2 = 21 (and +2 if evil outsider)
Damage 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 (and +2 if evil outsider)

Azlana doesn't think for a moment that they are on the same side, but with all the demons about, and him so far fighting on their side, she decides to worry about the weird demon-worshipper guy later. She moves a little closer and shoots at the Howler. Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 7 + 1 = 16 (and +2 if evil outsider)
Ugh. Probably a miss.

Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 Azlana looks around to see if there is anyone to ask about the fire, or if there looks like anything unburnt in the rubble that might be a clue. If not, she grumbles about the waste of time, and then heads back to tell everyone about what they found at the first place.

I'll try to get him to give something away, but feel free to attack if it goes poorly at all... or even if you just feel like it. :) Instead of doing as he says, Azlana challenges Faxon in a louder than normal voice, but not to the level of yelling. Just sounds angry and frustrated. Faxon, why are we doing so little? We could just attack them and be done with it. They are still weak and in shock. These patrols are ludicrous! Bluff: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Azlana takes the bedroll and nods her head, trying to assess the danger they are in. Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20 How powerful are these guys? Can we take them if we do it in small batches, or do some of them look much more powerful than our group? She starts down to the basement to see if they can learn some information from Faxon before killing him.

Azlana laughs. I think that was me, actually. I cast Detect Demon, and I knew he was a Demon worshipper, but I didn't realize it wasn't an actual Demon until he started talking. But you're right. He was too much for us regardless, it seems. I wonder who he was going to kill in the tower, and if we are going to regret not allowing him to do so.
