As ol' Pharasma presides over births as well as deaths, why not take the time to celebrate a new recruit? After months of practice, I recently developed quite the talent with the dogslicer. The Eagle Knights weren't interested, but Master Farebellus was quite keen to see this new technique up close, so here I am.
1. Why are you a Pathfinder? I heard that my big sister might be alive and working as a Pathfinder. i joined up to look for her. I have seen her for 18 years, not since ... we were both orphaned in the goblinblood wars. 2. Do you have a name and surname that is not ripped straight out of existing Earth mythology or popular culture? Yes. (Natural sciences are fair game though.) 3. Which nation did you grow up in? How did this nation influence you? Mostly Andoran. My new mother was an Eagle Knight who adopted me during the war. She made sure I got a solid education in philosophy, warfare, natural sciences, and the inalienable rights of man. 4. What do you look like? What are your wearing? How does this vary when you’re stalking through forests, sewers, deserts or in glittering cities? I'm dressed for Master Farabellus's review in half an hour. That means my best tabbard, the blue one, over my chain shirt, hard-wearing trousers, leather gloves and boots. It doesn't change much if I'm expecting battle. Out of battle, it's sundress and bonnet this time of year. 5. What do you love? (Treasure and experience doesn’t count) Fine clothes, fine wine, Alysande Benedict's treatises on the nature of liberty and rights of man. 6. What do you hate? (Unclear and irritating darkness level rules don’t count) Goblins. Vile things killed my original parents and drove me apart from my sister and brother. Also spiders. 7. Which other Pathfinders (PCs) do you rely on for teamwork, survival and butt-kicking? Do you have a bro? a mentor? a father figure? maybe a rival? Just joined up, none yet. (3rd-level GM credit baby.) 8. How does your race influence your views? Are you a stereotype of a certain race? How are you different from most humans/elves/gnomes/orcs/tengu? Well, my friends to tell me I have the sometimes reckless fearlessness of Halflings down. In time Chaldira will take away my fear completely (Paladin). I can only imagine what sort of challenged I'll seek out then. 9. What are you afraid of? Do you have any phobias or worries? Spiders, but see my last answer. 10. What is your most treasured possession? My holy symbol. Sure it's just carved wood, but my original father carved it before he died. It's the only thing of my original family I have. |
