Unless i am reading it wrong each challange in a room can only be attempted once.Considering that each challange in a room can only be attempted once the PCs at a 6 player table needs to crit succeed on 4 of the 5 room challanges rolls for a boon. While 4/5 player tables only need to crit succed 1 of the 5 checks per room to get the boon. While it does seem to be close, the scenario actually does state that they can keep attempting: "They can also stay in a room and continue completing tasks to try and gain more Worthiness Points, though each challenge in a room can only be attempted once, and if their Worthiness Points for the challenge would ever drop below zero, a guard opens the door and tells them that they have failed and must proceed to the next room in the gauntlet."The implication is that they would keep trying, even beyond their current success amount. That being said, I agree that 9 seems like too much, and most player groups would likely continue on once they have completed enough to leave the room. (Particularly if they don't know about the boon.)
I am a bit confused by the chronicle at the end of this scenario. The chronicle says that you can award it to "any character of levels 1-5 who does not already have a copy of this Chronicle sheet."

Thanks for the information! That definitely helps a lot and will make it easier to run. However, are you saying that they could gain more money from playing as level 1 and getting all treasure bundles than if they played at level 5? Or does the level 5 gold count as per treasure bundle?
Hey, Everyone,
First off, on November 5th, we have 8-06: Reaping What You Sow for levels 1-5. This time around, I will not be the one GMing. Instead, Scott (Vantis) will be the one to GM instead, and I'll be one of the players for this game. Recently, our low level games have been filling up rather fast, so if you're interested, make sure to sign up fast on warhorn: https://warhorn.net/events/las-vegas-pfs/schedule/2016/11/05/sessions/14832 1 Secondly, on November 6th, Marty is running Level 13 of the Emerald Spire Superdungeon. This is for levels 9-11, so there are no pregens available for this mission. However, you do not need to play previous levels to play this mission. There are still a couple of slots open, so make sure to sign up if you're interested.
Lastly, as the group continues to expand, we are always looking for more GMs. If you are interested in GMing a Pathfinder Society session, whether at Little Shop of Magic or somewhere else, please feel free to let me know. I can help with providing the resources needed to get started and help you with your first few scenarios. There are rewards that you can receive for GMing, and it's fairly easy to do. If interested, just contact me, either in person, via email, or on Facebook. See you all soon!
Greetings, Pathfinders!
Also, on August 13th, Marty will be running the 10th level of the Emerald Spire, a super-dungeon for levels 8-10. This mission will run longer than the normal scenario, but when you complete it, you will receive 3 experience instead of just 1! Please be aware that, because of the level range, you cannot use pre-gens for this mission. If you're interested in either or both of these missions, make sure to sign up on Warhorn! https://warhorn.net/events/las-vegas-pfs

Last, but not least, with Gen Con this upcoming weekend, there will be a new season, which means there will be some changes. Most of these changes will likely not affect you all as players, but please make sure to check the additional resources on the Paizo page for any changes that may affect you. I will likely run another mission later this month, and when I do, I will send out more information on what changes were implemented from Gen Con.
As a follow up to the previous post, the current game for Saturday, July 2nd is 7-23: Abducted in Aether, for levels 7-11.
Hello again, folks!
Only one of these missions will be run, so please vote for one of them by signing up for the mission on Warhorn. If you have any questions, about this mission, future missions, or the group, please feel free to email me at RikBardoon@gmail.com, or post here, and I will try to respond as fast as I can!
