Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems like private messages don't give any kind of notification or alert anymore. There used to be a red dot on the My Account link - which wasn't in itself high-visibility at all - but since one of the website updates recently, even that hasn't been appearing. Is this an issue for everyone, or just me? I'm using the Paizo Forum Tools add-on with Chrome version 69.0.3497.100 on Windows 8.1, but it hasn't been showing up on my phone (Chrome/Android) either.
So, I started playing PbP on the Giant in the Playground forums, but it's getting somewhat boring seeing the same dozen people apply to every single Pathfinder game request or recruitment there, along with their predictable objections to, demands for, and arguments about 3pp material and stuff like that. I've been thinking about coming over to the Paizo forums for a while, but the two forums (fora?) seem to have pretty different customs. Has anyone played both here and GitP (or here and on any other non-Paizo site), and are there any differences that aren't apparent from reading the PbP guides here? And one specific related question: is there a way to subscribe to threads and get notifications on here? |
