Shidou is off campaigning for the Taldan Senate when he should be working. So like a politician.

The newly-big Shidou fights a mock battle with the "king" until Lulari's narration reaches the slaying part.

"Grawr! Rawr! You may be crowned king now, but my curse shall follow you and your descendants! Rawr... gack!"

He falls to the ground.

"Hey, maybe we can reenact the battle for them. Might stick in their mind than a lecture. I'm not much of a performer, but I can probably make a passable linnorm. You still got that enlarge person scroll?"

Shidou will dismount, place his lance and axe in holsters on Tobikumaa's saddle, and begin unbuckling the armor he found. "This will take a moment, if you please." As he switches back to his own breastplate, he continues, "We have no desire to either rob or fight you. We simply wish to share what we found with everyone in the town."

Slightly offended that he didn't make Elena's list, Shidou holds his tongue as they return to Olisarra to discuss their findings.

Shidou pokes the linnorm with his spear, then backs Tobikumaa up for another charge.

"Backwards" is not his favorite direction of travel.

Shidou calls out a challenge to the linnorm, then spurs his mount into action, driving his lance into the creature's side.

Unfortunately, I don't think I can ride by with Artic standing there.

Can we see where the linnorm will form, what with the cloud and all? Picked a generally useful location, but may move based on that.

Shidou remounts and swears never to be away from his computer again takes the lead as the Pathfinders explore further.

Shidou continues being a wall of meat for all the people who can figure out stuff.

Since the others seem to be heading to the right, Shidou mounts his owlbear and rides down the passage that has more of a slope than stairs, clutching a lance in one hand and shield in the other.

Please try to leave a charge lane in case of combat, though I know that's difficult in tunnels.

"So what are we supposed to be doing here? I presume our elk friend won't tell us, and if this ritual is wrong, who knows just how wrong it could be..."

Shidou has Tobikumaa sniff around for anything the humanoids may not have noticed, though time and precipitation have probably cleansed all trails.

Shidou will help Mykel communicate with the elk.

Auto-aid on Handle Animal or Diplomacy Aid: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22

"Sounds like we have a place to start, at least." Shidou begins prepping his mount for the journey.

"Oh, good, you're back. Another few minutes and there wouldn't have been any stew left for you. You didn't run into any problems, did you?"

"That is the truth," Shidou replies, raising a tankard. "Though I'm not sure that I could get used to the cold. Scales are not as well adapted for that as fur.

"I hope the others are doing all right. It shouldn't be too much trouble to talk to some people, but they are taking their time about it. Maybe we should save them some food." He punctuates that comment with another large bite of stew.

"I am Shidou, and this is Mykal. We have come from the Pathfinder Society to learn about the Jarlsblood Witch."

Will aid whatever Mykel does, because he has better Diplomacy and we're equally terrible at the listed skills.

"I suspect I would need to custom order a saddle for my companion," Shidou says, pointing over the gate.

Anything you can do, I can do better...

"Shall we do the two longhouses first or try the... less likely to be contentious locations?

"Either way, I would like to be part of the team that visits Troll's Hide."

Diplomacy +6 to aid someone, or Knowledge (Nobility) +13 and Profession (Soldier) +5 in case those are relevant (likely not)

Shidou makes sure to grab some bacon for his mount before leaving. "Let's just try not to make this feud any worse."

Oh to have White Rose here. But anyway...

Other locations will also have alternate skills you can use.

Shidou knows a lot about nobility (which may theoretically cover linnorm kings) and animals, in case those seem useful. Maybe he should be on the team that visits the tannery?

"Stories, aye, I have a few. Let me tell you how I came upon this shield. It started in a library..."

None can see how their animosity is ruining the town."

That's what I get for not looking in for a day. Will respond to the plot eventually.

Shidou is a cavalier with the cavalier archetype and order of the cavalier. (not exactly but close enough) Try to leave him maneuvering room so he can ride by and charge. He has a figurine of wondrous power in case Tobikumaa can't follow somewhere.

Shidō will grab a set of furs and a snack for Tobikumā.

I doubt Lirall is powerful enough for the Court to care.

A nagaji in Tien-style armor stands beside Elena. His smile is wide, exposing far more teeth than most are comfortable with, but still jovial. A battleaxe hangs from his belt, and his left arm grips a shield with the device of a lion's head mid-roar, looking as if it could reach out and bite you. His pronunciation is precise as he responds.

"I feel the chill in my scales, but we go where we must. The Ulfen make our nation stronger, and surely what we learn will benefit both Taldor and the Society." There is a note of doubt in his voice.

Shidou's day job is campaigning for the Taldan Senate, which will be interesting to do from the Land of the Linnorm Kings.
