About Aurelia Anguis

Born into a pirate nation, Aurelia grew up as a pirate herself. Raiding was a way of life, and the best plunder was where people were richest. However, sometimes the going got tough, and the rich people also happen to have the best defenses, so the pirates would take on a small port town, which didn't sit well with Aurelia. The second time it was happening, a group of Pathfinders showed up to protect the villagers. The pirates hadn't been intent on killing any of the villagers, but they had been standing in the way, and so the fighting broke out. The pathfinders arrived and stepped in, not to fight the pirates, but simply to cover the villagers retreat, as they had determined it was a fight they couldn't win. Aurelia had taken a decent gash during the melee, and wasn't doing the greatest. When the rest of the crew had grabbed stuff and taken off, they left her behind as the Pathfinders were still harassing them. Not sure how to deal with the fact that her family had just abandoned her, when the Pathfinders asked her to come back with them as they were patching up her wounds she agreed, because she had never really experienced the level of kindness she was being shown.
