About Atani

Born to an aged chelaxian woman in Kaer Maga, who died giving birth to him, and after that he was adopted by a humble couple, who tried their best to teach Atani good manners - to no avail; Atani chose instead the life of a street thug and common bandit. Eventually ending up being a hired bully, and finally, paid assassin. But, he never completed his first and only assassination; instead he killed the one who had assigned him for the task, and disappeared into the night - for decades there were rumors about a character called "Angel of Vengeance" who ruthlessly punished the local crimelords and laid fear among them. There are some, who claim that this "Angel of Vengeance" was none else than Atani himself. Then, slowly, the rumors began to fade and became almost as much as legends, and eventually, forgotten tales. After almost a century, Atani showed up again in Absalom, signing in for the Pathfinder Society Trainings, when the Shadow Lodge once again became part of the organization. Supposedly no one remembered the old tales about the shadowy figure, but there are indeed some, inside the Society, who do remember; and find it better to keep the knowledge to themselves...
