History:

High in the Greypeak mountains, the Karanisitrissitnilisitick clan thrives. Occupying 4 fertile valleys, protected on all sides by high, unsurmountable peaks, they toil and live. Higher still, where the air grows thin and crystal clear,
lays the observatory, Koiristoniailk, or Seeker of Truth in human tongue. It was there that these dragonborn, plied the stars for prophecy and fortune, compiling endless scrolls of revelation in
thier deep, carverous vaults. Ashi was one that tended these scrolls. Compiling and collating at the direction of the Head Scrivener, she spent many days happily copying and preparing
scrolls for their internment in the vaults or as a missive to a sister organization out in the Realms.

Though such academic pursuits filled most of her days, all members of Karanisitrissitnilisitick were responsible for it's defence. Regular training with weapons and the physical arts kept Ashi and the
populace in great readiness for the dangers of the mountains.

Never was she allowed to minister to the machine, a contruction of stone and motion far beyond her ken. Perhaps if she remained her for a lifetime, she might accumulate enough knowledge
to assist one of the Observers, but such was not to be her fate.

Copying down a recent slate of observations, Ashi noticed a pattern. Such things often occurred with the Scriveners , being so intimate with the data spewed forth by the obsevatory.
Bringing the information to the attention of the Head Scrivener, a hasty council was formed, much muttering and discussion ensued and a decision was made.

Ashi was to journey to Waterdeep, to bring the scroll to the Temple of Selune, to their Prime Observator. Then she was to wait for his decision, being beholden to him for the time being.
