X: I'm definitely seeing this character as a bit more flashy and full of puns. As far as what role? I'm realizing the pure damage dealer aspect is really proving not to be my style. I like a bit of utility, for situations where I can't always deal the damage. Outside of combat, my character just feels like he can't do much. For me, just doing ranged damage would be fine.

I'd definitely like to be able to do decent damage with a real spike or two when need be. For me, I REALLY don't like the small races at all. Just something about them is just not for me.

Asher grimaces and brushes off the nasty bits of bug stuff from his clothes. "You know, I like a piece of the action as much as the next fellow, but really, I'd prefer not to bring how souvenirs in the form of...unidentifiable stains. Maybe a nice banner that says "I Survived the Climb" in next bold script? That'd be just fine."

Asher couldn't get to the enemy last round, but did have a ready for when it got close enough. So I'll roll the one attack, since it takes a standard action to reload.

How far away are we, as far as range increments? Approximately, of course. Asher is going to try and get in a decent range increment so that the shot isn't horribly wide. If it's beyond the first increment, and wouldn't require climbing, Asher is going to try and maneuver to a more advantageous position.

;) Hey, you never know. You can come up with good ideas, sometimes, with an Int penalty. Consider it a natural 20 on his Int check, and it worked once, so why not keep trying it and see if it keeps working?

Asher will definitely point that information out, making sure that his pistol is loaded, just in case the worst were to happen. The gunslinger keeps his voice low. "I don't think we're the only visitors that've been here."

Asher blows the smoke from the barrel, looking over the barrel at the now dead cat, wiping it off on the leather of his armor before spinning it into its holster.

"Aww...poor kitty fell down and go boom." Asher scratches his hairless chin and grins, as the joke finally comes from his lips. "Err...scratch that and reverse it."

Pounce, Corwin. It's a nasty monster ability, and kitties are a great example of animals that mostly fit with the ability. It lets you do a full attack at the end of a charge.

I'm definitely thinking that healing potion is a very nice item. I have a longsword, but the crossbow would be quite helpful in the future.
