He imbues his blade with holy purpose smiting the brimorak' demon with the holy power of Ragathiel and bringing all his strength to the blow.

Arryn double moves to current position and lays hands a second time for this battle

Arryn waits for all his friends to finish casting spells, then he double moves, bringing up his shield and drawing his could iron longsword... laying hands on himself as a swift action in the process.

Won't we need saves for the horses and Riding/Handle Animal rolls? I mean... we all just got the s*#@ burned outta us

Kyra's skills are poorly chosen. Unfortunately, Aod's not the kind of bard that has bardic knowledge, and though I was planning on taking Knowledge Planes, he hasn't leveled up since I made that plan.

A hard fought fight

The faithful of Ragathiel pulls out his wand of Cure Light Wounds and asks if any may tend to him with it.

I didn't mean to kill the farmer, he explains simply. I hit hard, not knowing if he too was under some sort of demonic power and he moved into my punch so that I caught him at full strength. I will seek vengeance beyond these demons here, on those that put us both in this situation.

Arryn moves past the farmers at a double move focusing on the demons and risking a club attack or two. He draws his cold iron sword as he does so.

He grunts as negative energy rolls over him

Arryn drops his polearm, useless at this range and attempts to punch the farmer in front of him to the ground, knocking him out.

I don't know that the role is 'permanent' but yeah - a front man (or two) would be a good idea for this situation. Modern militaries normally have an advance unit. In the open we can support with bows and can move freely to run up. In a tunnel it pays to be more compact

A tall figure clad in polished plate armour rises and salutes Jorsal. I am filled with admiration of your post and your actions Venture Captain and am proud that now I have opportunity to serve under you - I am called Arryn Wildblood, Servant of Ragathiel.

While Arryn looks Elvish in some respects, sharing their pointed ears and solidly coloured eyes, he is atypical in others to them - he stands nearly seven feet tall and is very well muscled. His size and his personality radiates a presence of confidence and authority.

I will give honour and respect to this Sir Ilivan, have no fear for my part.
