Def. Gonna go with Slayer. 20pt buy a bit too short for a good TWFing fighter haha.

I completely missed the Amoral mercenary trait when I was reading through. That one would work fine for Arrac as well. So don't worry about my question above. Apologies.

might submit something. Most likely a bounty hunter, possibly with hellknight aspirations.

Concept:
Slave turned slave hunter turned bounty hunter after being freed.
Switch hitter focusing on melee TWF with an orc double axe he received upon earning his freedom, named Severance. Thematically, it comes apart into two axes and can be combined back together at will, No mechanical changes. "Nothing personal, but a jobs a job"

short and brief Background:
He is a half-orc who started out as a slave. His strength set him apart and he moved up the "ranks" of slavery, eventually becoming a hunter who hunted down fellow escapee slaves for reward. Eventually, he gained his freedom and for a time worked as a bounty hunter for hire, though maybe that is going to change soon. He seeks power, or money, to fund his own noble title, or, perhaps, form his own mercenary guild in service to the crown.

Crunch: WIP Will be a slayer or Fighter.

Alignment:
Probably NE.

Personality:
Cold, ambitious, stoic, driven, gruff, mildly flamboyant pragmatic and logical yet prone to bursts of anger and emotion under certain situations. He views forced service, and service freely given as two separate things. He is very adamant he will not be forced to do anything, but, anything can be done for a price. He takes his name and reputation very seriously and hopes one day the entire nation will know it. He has a penchant for flair as well.

Question, none of the other traits quite fit him background wise. I can see about tweaking the background a bit, to fit the "local Tough" trait, but I feel like him being a slave, who proved his loyalty by working as a bounty hunter to reclaim escaped slaves is pretty integral to his character vibe.

So, I'd like to take the Erratic malefactor trait. Though subdued. He is out for himself first and foremost, But he knows no one makes it alone. He does have some pent up anger from his time as a slave, but he has found... proper, outlets for that. His primary goal is power or money. For one follows the other in most cases. And neither comes to those who stand alone, or cannot properly self discipline. At least, if they do they are fleeting.

Take care of yourself. Condolences. Losing someone close is never easy.

Sit upon my shoulder, little flying thing. Together, we shall awash ourselves in the blood of our foes, and so earn both survival and glory.

*headpats shoulder dragon that heals him*

I may purchase a wand of infernal healing to give to someone and say "here, tap me with that when I say" haha. The one big con about this build is when I do actually "drop" I am dead. But, I can still be revived with healing for a few rounds haha. Though, hopefully that won't happen until I run out of rage. Which I have ways to get more of.

Thats fine, I just wanted to get a feel. I'm largely basing my knowledge, and thus the background from that along with the listed item you mentioned.

This will be the alias I use, it isn't updated as of yet save the crunch. I did want to ask. Most of my Forgotten realm knowledge comes from the works of R.A Salvatore. Is the setting largely similar to the one portrayed in his books?

At 80 HP, and a "usable" max of 119 before death, I'm quite the tank. I am a bottomless well to throw healing in however.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

Hey sorry all for the disappearance, had some life things come up with the end of the semester, but I should be able to get back to keeping up within a day.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

Then let us be off. I'd rather not waste time. He says after giving the human wizard a hard stare.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

Welp. Thats that, Lets be off. What type of things can he divine, exactly? He asks the group pointing towards Ihoh as he hefts the large axe up getting ready to leave.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

Arrac grunts. Doesn't really matter the kind. All we need to do is find out who the leaders are, and remove them. Should be sufficient enough.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

Arrac smiles at Amiedeo's claim. He gives a small grunt.
Heh, well, we shall see.

He looks to Andre. So, you are an archer then? And capable of divine magic I presume? And yes... my skills lie in making problems... go away. he grins at the last part

He then looks to Ihoh

While what little I know of magic tells me that divination is not particularly powerful in combat, it can be useful in gaining knowledge before hand. he grunts a nod at Ihoh as well.

Hpmh, might be a useful lot after all.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

Arrac stands by idlely, letting Amideo finish. His face a blank slate, as he was used to such, after all, he's worked for nobles most his life. He steps away from the wall, still holding his weapon on across his shoulders.

Yes, that is all quite lovely. You can call me Arrac, or, you may know me as the Wolf of Cheliax. Mercenary and hired blade. I care not for your titles, I only care that you will be of use, and not get in the way. He pauses for second, leaning

Though most of you nobles do at least know your way around a sword, normally. What are you lot good at? Gotta be good at something to be here. he rubs his nose as he asks, showing little proper etiquette.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

Arrac is leaning against the wall when the group suddenly appears before him. He looks them over with a mild distaste, his eyes linger on Amideo. Hmph. At least he may prove useful.

He wears a cloak and vest that almost fully covers up an exquisite breastplate worn beneath. Laid across his shoulders is an Orc-DoubleAxe made of black steel, however this weapon seemed different from others as it looked as though its two ends could be pulled apart, and reattached easily. Resting against the wall next to him is a large, monstrous Butchering axe wrought of Cold Iron.

Finally, after a long silence he asks. So, you the group I'm to be working with then?

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

so.. can I introduce myself?

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

I changed a few things around, maxing DD, and uping SM to 4, but I would rather keep at least 1 point in some of the other skills, if not to show he has had experience in the skills, then to have them around at least in case I ever need them. IIRC most if not all are class skills, so getting the +3 is nice.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

I think everything has been spent. I have like, 63 gold to my name now I believe.

HP: 82/82 | AC: 22 FF: 19 T: 14 | Fort: +14 Ref: +9 Will: +7 | init: +3| perception: +10

hello all, I should have the alias finished up shortly, still have a little money to spend on anything I think Arrac would deem useful. Thanks for the invite!

Here is my druid/unmonk, no templates, decent bloke, bit of a tragic end to his time in a circle.

He would be a good all-rounder, with a focus on frontline combat and control during fights, with some healing and survival skills outside to help compliment the other druid.
