I'm not sure if this has been considered or crossed anyone's mind yet but what would your opinions on an in-game card game like Magic:The Gathering or Yu-Gi-Oh in PO be?.
As much as I'm looking forward to PO every MMO has its point when you lose interest or become less engaged, and I don't think PO will be any exception (sorry if I sound negative!!!). I'm thinking a nifty little side feature like a trading card game can keep people occupied if they want a change of pace from the base content and offer many hours of amusement in return.
Mini games and side features are like the icing on the cake for many games and I have a feeling a trading card game will encourage people to sink their teeth into the game further.
Personally I love trading card games, the collecting, structuring decks, and playing against friends (or enemies!) will be largely complemented and suited to a sandbox MMO (particularly a fantasy themed one), and as far as I know no other MMO has an in game TCG implemented.
I realize there may be technical issues preventing this or other problems that would make it difficult to pull off, or simply not enough people would be interested, but its just a suggestion and I'm wondering what all you guys think?.
