I am writing to ask for your help. Currently Tabletop Armory is struggling to get to the last two cons of the year, Con on the Cob in October and MACE in November. We realize that asking for simple donations at a time like this might be asking too much, which is why we have decided to get together a special bundle offer.
The ArmoryCon2010 Bundle Package is stuffed full of every product Tabletop Armory currently sells. For only $5.00 (normal retail price is $13.00) you can get all of our current product line as well as buy knowing that you are helping get us to a our cons.
Included in the Bundle:
$1 Adventures - Dead Tower Island
$1 Adventures - Night at the Expo
$1 Adventures - Lords of Nightly Grace
Figure Flats Volume 1: Fantasy Villains
Character Pages 1, for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game
Character Pages 2, for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game
The Monkey's Key - A Full Length Adventure Module for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game
We thank you greatly for your support of Tabletop Armory not in this endeavor but also throughout 2010. 2011 promises much more from Tabletop Armory, and the road is just getting cleared to bigger and better things.
If you can help us with this, thank you. If not, please pass this email along to anyone you know who might be interested.
Thanks for the words of support, Wicht, and I am here again to throw out a little more. Behold, the cover (once again featuring hand-drawn art, with a little digitizing, from Wicht)!
I am very happy to finally get to tell you about Tabletop Armory's first full-length adventure module for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, The Monkey's Key.
Written by Jonathan McAnulty ("Wicht" here on the Paizo Messageboards) and featuring hand-drawn maps by the author, this module is an exciting trek through the jungle that follows clues left behind on an old map that once belonged to a famous explorer.
Your characters will trek through rivers of monsters, jungles of danger, and encounter lost tribes and devious traps as they quest to obtain the artifacts hidden in the Monkey Temple.
The Monkey's Key will go on sale on Wednesday, August 11th in PDF format at DriveThruRPG/RPGNow for only $4.00.
Visit the Tabletop Armory Store for other products until then, and come back on Wednesday to get The Monkey's Key!
Well it took a little longer that I thought it would, but today Tabletop Armory is proud to release the next installment in the Character Pages series!
Featuring the Barbarian, Bard, Druid, Ranger, and Sorcerer, Pack 2 also has an introductory story featuring all of the characters as described in their biographies as well as Tabletop Armory's "Journey Points" adventure ideas.
This product can be used with the first pack or by itself to fully outfit a group of up to five players in just minutes with the following:
- Stat block sheet for each Level 1 character.
- Figure Flats for each character in either full color or black & white.
- Biographies for each character with suggestions about the background, personality, and motivations of each character.
- "Journey Points" for the DM, suggesting starting points and adventure ideas that can be folded into an existing adventure or adventure path or even made into their own separate adventure sessions.
Have fun with the new character pack, and be sure to take a look at Pack 1 and our two FREE adventures for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, Orc Hunt and Laughing Horrors, also available on RPGNow.
Just up on RPGNow, Tabletop Armory has released a free Quick Adventure for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.
This adventure sets the stage for a hunting contest in the mountains, held annually by a village now famous for the event, to thin the rampaging orc population in the are. But not all of the teams have the same agenda, and the party soon finds itself fending off attacks from more than just wild orcs.
I am pleased to offer this Quick Adventure as a free supplement to the PFRPG community. Thank you for you support. Click on the link below to get this new free adventure.
As of now, the Character Pagesproduct is back on DriveThruRPG and fixed. I know there is a lot that can be said about human error and nothing ever being perfect the first time, but I hope that you will take another look at the pre-gen pack, as I have listened to the feedback with great interest.
One of our goals as the company grows is to make sure we do listen, and I thank everyone who had already done given an opinion on this product. The link to the updated page is below.
I have read what you have said for feedback for this product, and I fully admit that there are, after a review, a couple of typos that will be fixed soon. Fortunately, with digital products this is easy to do. As to the skills, I can guarantee that they are indeed Pathfinder Roleplaying Game selected, and I will make sure they correctly reflect this upon revision.
I appreciate the constructive points and genuine nature of the majority of the feedback so far, and I will post here when the product has been revised.
Thank you again, and I hope that you all will enjoy our efforts in the future.
Hey everyone! I am excited to tell you about the newest Tabletop Armory product, released today, that is specifically for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game.
Perfect for gaming on the go, avoiding a pesky character creation session, or running a demo game or gaming at a con or gaming event, this pack includes:
- Five Level 1 characters, ready to use in any game for The Pathfinder Roleplaying Game
- An introductory story featuring all five characters and giving details into their personality and motivations.
- Detailed backgrounds and histories of each of the characters, explaining their motivations, personalities, and suggesting the style of play for the character.
- Character stat sheet, providing all of the necessary information for playing the characters right out of the book. All you do is print and play!
- Figure Flats paper minis for each of the five characters, in color and b&w, ready to be printed and easily assembled for tabletop battle map play.
We are really excited about this and other products soon to be released specifically for PFRPG, and we look forward to joining in on your games!

Tabletop Armory
Equipping Gamers, Changing Games
I wanted to let everyone know about the newest update on the Tabletop Armory website that has pictures of the Figure Flats printed and assembled with a light cardstock paper.
From the preview, it looks like the first 3 pages are each one page of one mini (werewolf, mummy, zombie) copied 24 times (which is OK, thanks for the preview).
How many different models ore on the last page?
(And can we get a list?)
I have changed the preview pages on the Figure Flats to include all of the pages that have Flats on them. The last page that you were asking about has 4 different figures: Floating Lich, Angry Vampire, Vampire Lady, and Evil Lord.
I hope this helps, and thank you for the feedback.
I wanted to take a quick moment to tell you about two new and exciting products from Tabletop Armory.
The first, released yesterday, is a pack of Figure Flats paper minis. There are 96 Flats stuffed into four pages of werewolves, zombies, and mummies. These fantasy Flats fit into any fantasy situation and can easily provide an instant army of bad guys. Also included in the fourth page are tougher, boss-like monsters like vampire lords, liches, and more. Print, fold, and game on!
The second product, due to release next week, is a pack of pre-generated Pathfinder Compatible characters. Our first full color Pathfinder Compatible product, the pack will include five characters with richly detailed backgrounds, full stats, character portrait art, and full color and b&w Figure Flats for the characters.
These pre-generated character packs are ideal for one shot games, demo games, con games, and even for starting a campaign without the usual pre-requisite of the "character creation session."
We're excited about these and future products that will be released for PFRPG, including several full length modules to be released over the next few months and later this year.
Thanks for the support so far. I am excited about becoming more and more a part of the PFRPG community.
Any chance they'll be available through Paizo's Store?
For now we are only on DriveThruRPG/RPGNow, and have signed a contract with them for a year. However, if there ends up being enough demand I am definitely going to consider creating a relationship with the Paizo store when the time comes.
I just wanted to drop a line here to PFRPG players and GMs who are looking for more adventures to plug into campaigns or use as one shots.
Tabletop Armory's first product line, "$1 Adventures," has been out since early February. They are for sale at our DriveThruRPG store, and through March 31st they are all available for 25% off!
These adventures are system neutral, open ended adventures that are designed to give too much information for the GM to stuff into one normal length session, making it up to the group how much or how little of the detailed background material they dig into.
There are two $1 Adventures that are fantasy based, and I wanted to say a few words about each.
The party sails out to sea on the town's last fishing vessel, in search of the fate of the rest of the fishing fleet. Their troubles begin on the sea when unnaturally aggressive sharks and undead sea gulls harass them. When they find a small island that appears to be at the center of the chaos, they are in for more than they thought when they learn they must contend with the will of an ancient and powerful sorcerer who commands the undead!
The party is invited to dinner by the local ruler after they have defeated a feared vampire lord and his brood. But the recent activity at the ruler's house is unnaturally high as the party must keep up appearances while at the same time attempt to investigate the shadows and mysteries that haunt the ruler's house. The invitation to dinner, they find, may be more permanent than anyone could have originally guessed.
There are more releases planned in the $1 Adventures series for later this year as well as full length specifically PFRPG modules.
I am excited about the $1 Adventures and our other products that are on the way, and I will keep the PFRPG community close at hand as we move forward.
A very big "Thank you!" to everyone who has responded to my call for writers. I think we have some great projects in the works.
But if you're still on the edge about submitting a proposal or just finding out more information, it's not too late. I didn't put an expiration date on this call for a reason.
If you still want to submit or just ask some questions, e-mail me at dave@tabletoparmory.com.
Thanks, and I will keep the community updated on our progress.
Sounds good. I'm putting something together to send you.
Hey Wicht, how's it going? I haven't heard from you yet, and I am curious if you still plan to submit something. If you have any questions just let me know. Drop me an email if you like, dave@tabletoparmory.com.
Anybody else out there is still welcome, too. I have enjoyed reading the submissions I have received so far, so keep them coming!
What word count are you looking at for your PFRPG adventures?
I am not going to outright limit a word count (nor set a minimum) for adventure modules, but the 12,000 word count of the Pathfinder Society adventures is in the right ballpark. It really will depend on the proposal and working out the details with the author.
Some of you may have heard of Tabletop Armory, but I am willing to bet that most of you have not. Tabletop Armory is a small and fairly new RPG game design studio that I founded in the early part of last year. It has taken some time to get things, going, but I am happy to say we are working on our first Pathfinder specific products right now with a goal to have the first module out soon.
Some of you may have noticed us on the long list of 3PPs in the Compatibility License section and wondered what we were up to. Now you know a little bit more. On top of the adventure modules, we are also working on an original setting that will have support for Pathfinder compatibility as well.
Just today, I announced that Tabletop Armory is also open to receiving proposal submissions from writers who are interested in what we are or would like to propose a new project. For more information on us and the announcement, please visit the Tabletop Armory Website and check out our store on DriveThruRPG.
So for now, I have to say that I am very excited about PFRPG and look forward to the future with this great game and community.

Backstory:
--------------------
Alektara was born into a minor wing of the House of Thrune. Her father was an elf guardsman and her mother was an elven court performer. While her parents could trace their family lineages back to the Everwar, each of their respective families fell on hard times until the present when Alektara’s father met her mother at a performance house. Her mother was a bard working in one of the many theatre houses in the city. Their love did not last as her mother died during childbirth and her father raised her the best he could on his city guard salary. He did teach her how to handle herself and she grew up mostly on the street when he was working. When her father was accused by a Hellknight for stealing city funds Alektara found herself alone in the world after her father requested a trial, was found guilty and publicly executed. This occurred as she entered her teen years and when evidence was uncovered that her father’s Duxotar framed her father to protect himself from the law. Alektara killed him when he tried to kill her while boasting of his wrongdoings. He was her first kill and she finally found her purpose in life- as a slayer, a killer, a person who meets out street justice. She first joined the Shadow Lodge but then joined the Liberty's Edge faction due to...umm… work related issues.
--------------------
Personality:
--------------------
Alektara is a social chameleon. She can go from silent to feigning boredom to being chatty, depending on the circumstances at the time. She desires to focus all of her attention on perfecting her craft as a switch hitter as she is skilled with bow and blade. She has a sense of street justice and seeks to protect the innocent but is not foolish enough to believe that all people are innocent. She also has a hatred of Hellknights.
