So this issue was left unresolved in the Errata so I'm going to ask it here. First let's look at the Spells Known FAQ:

FAQ

New Spells Known: If I gain the ability to add a spell that is not on my spell list to my list of spells known, without adding it to my spell list, can I cast it?

No. Adding a spell to your list of spells known does not add it to the spell list of that class unless they are added by a class feature of that same class. For example, sorcerers add their bloodline spells to their sorcerer spell list and oracles add their mystery spells to their oracle spell list. The spell slots of a class can only be used to cast spells that appear on the spell list of that class.

Now let's look at the Human/Half-Elf/Half-Orc Shaman Favored Class Bonus which adds Cleric Spells to your Spells Known, but not your spell list.

Add one spell from the cleric spell list that isn’t on the shaman spell list to the list of spells the shaman knows. This spell must be at least 1 level below the highest spell level the shaman can cast.

So, the question is "Can the Shaman actually cast these spells or are they prevented form doing so by the Spells Known FAQ due to them not being on the Shaman's Class list?"

So it came to my attention that there is no magic item guide. This is a serious problem that must be addressed immediately and thus in the spirit of the wonderful 3.5 guide Bunko's Bargain Basement, let me welcome you to Anzyr's Magic Item Emporium!

So first of all what this guide is and is not:

This guide covers only the best of the best magic items. Otherworldly Kimono gets covered, Robes of the Archmagi do not. It is not an item by item overview.

Each item has my thoughts, not the full text of the description.

I'm open to persuasion on either of the above points. If you want to see something/change the format let me know.

Finally this thread is to discuss the guide, ask questions about magic items, and recommend me magic items that should be on it.

Without further ado the Guide.

Anzyr's Magic Item Emporium.

Presently covers up to the Eyes magic slot, with Boots soon to follow.

Hello, basically the question is: "When you use Wish/Limited Wish to duplicate a lower level spell, do you use the casting time of Wish/Limited Wish (1 Standard Action) or the casting time of the spell being duplicated."

The Range, Target, Effect, Area, and Duration are all "see text". But the listed casting time is 1 standard action. This leads me to believe that I could use Wish/Limited Wish to cast Summon Monster V or even something like Hallow as a standard Action.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, basically the question is: "Can I use Blood Money with spells that require longer then 1 round to cast."

Blood Money is supposed to be cast just before casting another spell. So if I cast Blood Money and then started casting a spell that will not complete that round, will Blood Money still work since I cast it just before I started casting the spell?

As an example let's say I want to make Arcane Sight Permanent on myself. I cast Arcane Sight, then the following round Blood Money + Permanency. I've begun casting Permanency now, but it will take 2 rounds to cast. Has the material component provided by Blood Money been consumed when I started casting Permanency or will Blood Money fail because it has taken more then 1 round to finish casting.

All I can find on when material components are consumed is that:

"A material component consists of one or more physical substances or objects that are annihilated by the spell energies in the casting process."

This leads me to believe that material components are consumed as soon as a caster begins casting a spell, which leads me to believe that Blood Money would work with Permanency assuming that is when the components are "used".

Thanks in advance.
