About Arfi-em-khet

Background:

Fiery eyes stare out across the final dusty expanse of desert to Wati. Standing still up on one of a myriad of sand dunes, his red robes billowing in the incessant desert winds, a tall hooded Gnoll exhales in expectation.
The secrets to finding the elusive Sphinx is finally here. Praise The Maat .

Ma'at commanded her followers to be a bulwark against the corrupting forces of chaos, and to embody fairness and justice. She forbade her followers from lying, treating those close to them unfairly, and desecrating the natural world.

The Ancient Guardian recites those words written warmly into his brain. The strong scent of smoldering embers invade his flaring nostrils. Coarse black soot covers his red-brown fur, as he stands silently, stoically still amid the recently vandalized shrine to another of Osirian's Ancient gods.

These occurrences have developed more frequently as the Druid traversed closer to Wati. Having actually been witness to such vandalism only 3 days previously, the tall Gnoll expects the same wanton group.
Fear not for those particular pathetic problems were... dissuaded from further violations.

A hyena-sounding chuckle escapes the usually taciturn Ancient Guardian.
