Thank you :). Was just making sure there wasnt something missing out of the used book i bought.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I am currently running the S+S and my players are loving it. However I have been trying to figure something out... The rumoured treasures in the back of all the books of the AP have locations.
But is there stats for these items or are they just points on plunder waiting for the players to find?

If there is info on them other than the little blurb at the back of the book where are they located?
And if there isn't then should I have them make Know (local, history, geo)to find the place with a encounter suited to what I think the item should have? And reward them 2-3 points plunder?

Also the party wants hidden weapon ports for a ship they want to build, do they still take up the 5 tons of cargo space?

Question on the rumors at the back of the book.
Fellhope Fish Skull
The Oasis of Calm Winds
Ol’ Captain Mutiny
Snare of the Island Eater

Is there any info on these events or what the treasures actualy do? Or do I come up with an encounter to go with them and give the players a point or two of plunder?

I am seeing many reasons to do either side of the magus, but one of my players is a STR based and is doing very well, currently sitting at LV 10. Many people may not agree, but a Falcata (d8, 19-20/X3)is a fine weapon or a magus to use. It has flavor and a really good critcal, only cost really is the feat.

So there has been this argument for several sessions now...

If there are creatures that are hiding in the room using thier stealth skill or an invisibilty/ greater invisibilty spell, they also use it to try finding magical traps.
The party uses a 0 level detect magic to detect presence of magic and trying to pinpoint the squares. There are many spells to country hiding or invisible creatures, but does a 0 level at will spell make them useless?

The major questions are:

1. Will detect magic find magical traps and allow a caster to identify them? Or will he/she have to use thier perception skill first to pinpoint the trap?

2. Detect Magic VS. Invisiblity? Who wins?

3. Dectect Magic VS. Hiding creatures with magic items on thier person. (Giving the players the presence in the first round). But failing thier opposed skill checks to see the creatures. Does this mean the spell caster can still see the space its in?

Please help me lol
