A weird question about initiative came up in our game. Our party was in a sharply curved corridor in the marching order fighter-eidolon-investigator-cleric-summoner, and the fighter, eidolon, and investigator had line of sight to some giant centipedes while the cleric and summoner did not when initiative was called. My GM ruled that the eidolon should set the initiative for me since that was who was doing the perception. The summoner class writeup doesn't specify an answer to this that I could find. So does the initiative for the summoner and eidolon sometimes get rolled using the eidolon's statistics, instead of the summoner?

I'd like to see a feat to gain attack of opportunity for my eidolon. A lot of the fun for me in playing melee characters is using attack of opportunity to deny options to the enemy and protect the back line, but that playstyle just isn't available in the Summoner in this version.

Is attack of opportunity something you'd take, if you had the option? For me, the answer is yes. But I'm curious if I'm the only one feeling its absence.
