About Ansari Zolta
Ansari is a tall, wiry Keleshite man with long black hair and a short, carefully trimmed beard. He wears a traditional caftan and burnoose over his chain shirt, adding a turban when he needs to keep the sun off his head.
As the son of a prosperous Qadiran wine merchant, he paid regular lip service to Sarenrae, but since arriving in Absalom and serving a short apprenticeship with a dwarf brewer there, he found the cult of Cayden Cailean more appealing. After a number of dangerous missions as a Pathfinder, he felt a call to serve the god more directly as a cleric for a couple of years, but has turned back to purely rogue work with the Society.
Few have ever seen it, but Ansari has a rather ugly and dramatic scar that extends diagonally across his entire torso--plus matching, marginally shallower cuts across both arms--where he was nearly bisected by a Numerian monowhip. The only land that he curses more roundly than Numeria is the godless nation of Rahadoum, where he was once slain by an undead div (though the Society raised him from the dead afterwards).
