Hey folks. A group I'm playing with just started a Pathfinder game last night. At the end of the session we were discussing some feats, including the changes to cleave and backswing... and began to question just how they differ.
From what I can see, they do basically the same thing with these differences:
Cleave - use any melee weapon
Backswing - Two-handed weapon only (assumes includes single handed weapons wielded two-handed??)
Cleave - Used against 2 adjacent targets
Backswing - Does not state a target restriction
Does this mean that Backswing may be used against the same target as the initial hit? Is that the principle difference (other than weapon restriction) between the two feats, that otherwise function the same way?
