Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

I'll keep an eye on the recruitment area, then. XD;

(As a GM myself, may I suggest trying for a smaller table, perhaps 2-3 people? Those seem to work better.)

I just try to post as soon as it's my turn... but I'm entirely in favor of anything that keeps the game moving forward. ^^

I certainly wouldn't mind having some more healing here. I may pick up some on my own later, but... XD

Angi glanced towards the others. Most people seemed to react poorly when things were set on fire, and she wanted to be sure that they agreed with this course before she started making things go boom.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

"We could probably kill everyone on that smaller boat, but that seems like a bad long-term plan..." Angi observed, fighting the desire to flick a bit of flame on and off. That... seemed like it would be developing into her nervous habit if she didn't keep a lid on it now.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

I posted - and am ready to go. ^^

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Huh, can't wear Concealable Vests. Oh well. XD

"Ship ahead." Angi warned, once again making herself scarce and trying to hide out of sight. She... did look at least a little bit distinct, after all, and couldn't properly wear the vests they'd found. She kept her fires out, too, given how easily light could draw attention to her.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi didn't bother with the guns - she didn't know how to use them and they probably weren't as strong as her flames anyway. She was, however, interested in the armor... and was fairly certain she could control her inner heat enough to avoid burning her own armor. It would be... inconvenient... if she scorched her own clothes off.

Yay, Kevlar~

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

"Everybody looks at fire. Especially when something important is burning. If we wanted to get them to look away..." Angi observed. It was worth noting that she could send flames as far as a hundred and twenty feet away, which ought to be enough distance to stay hidden and avoid being spotted. Especially because, y'know, distractions.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi blinked. "Set it on fire" probably wasn't a very good answer here. ...Probably. Maybe if they set SOMETHING on fire and ran past while everyone was distracted...

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi tilted her head for a moment, then nodded and smiled. She carefully straightened her fingers, and a two-foot blade of fire sprang out of the end. She moved it close to their necks a moment later, allowing them to feel the fierce heat radiating from it. "Please answer the questions." she said, hoping she wouldn't actually need to hurt anyone.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi shrugged. She had nowhere near enough information on local politics to be able to figure out who might be behind this. "Well, I suppose there's always religious fanatics..." she observed.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

"...Experimental technology?" Angi suggested. "Or we could just say that there were more of us than they'd expected, and we managed to overpower them by sheer numbers." It was clear she was trying to come up with some sort of believable excuse... though she didn't know what would appeal to their superiors and what wouldn't.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

"Would it help if I threatened them?" Angi asked, holding up one hand that seemed to shimmer slightly in a self-produced haze of heat. "If they're threatened by something they were clearly unprepared to handle, I don't think anyone could realistically blame them for whatever happened...." She seemed like she was still trying to figure out proper social behavior, and wasn't entirely sure what would be appropriate here.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Fire Blast (vs Touch): 1d20 + 6 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 6 - 4 = 11 for Fire Damage: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 4, 4) + 5 = 18

Angi wove fire together, then sent a stream of it into the (blue) guard bothering her friends. They'd gone for violence, so she'd reply in kind... not because she wanted to, but because it was all she really could do, and the only way to protect the other project members.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Even as Vivi fought, Angi moved over to Celeste and formed a small, narrow blade of intense fire that she used to cut through the other girl's bonds and free her to fight. All right, that was one freed - now she had to see if anyone else needed help, or if she could get back to throwing fireballs at the enemy. For now, though, she was taking cover as best she could.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

...Who's not in melee and still tied up? XD; (Just need people to hold still for a round so I can cut them free!)

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

So, who's still tied up?

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Well, there went her desire for nonlethal combat. Flames swirled into Azri's hand as she focused her power, and a moment later, she flung a blast of heat into the gold guard as the echo of the gunshot faded. She'd tried hard, she really had, but she wasn't going to be nonlethal if the guards were trying to kill them.

Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23 for Damage: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (4, 2, 4) + 5 = 15+Burning, 1d6 fire at the start of their round, Reflex DC 16 negates.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Which I plan to do during a lull moment. XD I'd rather not try to cut people's bonds when they're in the middle of swinging their arms around wildly.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Well, I know there are some things you can't do - somatic spell components, for example, would probably be right out. Other times, it's probably simple sense...?

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi continued to keep her action at the ready, somewhat relieved that she hadn't already started tossing fire around. The others honestly did look like they were trying to go for an escape without killing anyone, and she didn't want to be the one to mess that up.

With that, she moved in and tried to help the others remove his gun...

Aid Another: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

But given the way they were rolling around, couldn't quite manage to do so.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Hmm, Gray didn't look like he was trying to kill this guy. Whereas she had... a very particular set of skills. Skills that mostly involved setting everything on fire. Problem was, she had a hard time not killing things - spraying gouts of fire everywhere didn't lend itself to gently sending people into slumber. Well, best to be on the safe side. She didn't want to escalate this any further than necessary.

Ready Action: Throw a Flame Blast at any enemy trying to get away or cause serious harm to her friends.

If Used:
Ranged Touch Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21 for Fire Damage: 3d6 + 5 ⇒ (5, 6, 5) + 5 = 21 +Burning - 1d6 Fire Damage at the start of their turn, Reflex DC 16 negates.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

I was waiting on Gray - it seemed like he was going to do to something, and I'm planning to follow up on that as best I can.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi just nodded quietly - if the others wanted to fight, she'd support them. If nothing else, she could probably use her flames to melt her way through the metal bars. That might take a little while, but... well, that was the way things went. Couldn't do everything perfectly.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

It was surprisingly difficult to keep her penchant for fire under control, but Angi worked on that, falling quiet as the boat sped onward. She was still very new to this whole 'living' thing, and needed time to process her memories and figure out what, exactly, the right behaviors would be. Many of the things others took for granted had to be learned, and it looked like she'd have to practice them... assuming she lived for much longer. Diplomacy still seemed like the best solution to her, especially if they could find a way to prove they weren't Germany's enemies.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi quietly permitted her hands to be bound, offering no trouble to the officers. It wasn't like she needed hands in order to project fire, after all, and she could probably burn right through these if she really had to. Many humans apparently had an instinctive fear of fire, and she was doing everything she could to appear as a normal, harmless person. Given that all she needed to do was not manifest flames, this wasn't very difficult. "How do these people usually treat prisoners?" she asked quietly.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi quietly followed Vivianne, continuing to take care to be as inconspicuous and harmless-looking as possible. This... honestly didn't seem like a good time to practice her fire-shaping abilities, and she was intentionally keeping her skin cooler than she could have made it.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi glanced at the symbol. She didn't have enough knowledge to interpret it, other than the obvious bit about the anchor - suggesting they normally did business on the water - and the fact that it was at least moderately official. Instead, she simply tried to make herself as inconspicuous as possible, hoping to avoid being called out or noticed. As long as she remained a 'passenger' instead of a 'person', they probably wouldn't give much thought to her...

Stealth: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

"That assumes they'd be willing to do so, and that there aren't just people to contact, but that it would be safe to do so." Angi noted quietly. She didn't seem entirely confident that getting arrested by any military would be a good long-term plan.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

"I don't suppose we could convince them that we're lacking in navigational equipment, appreciate the warning, and would be happy to be escorted out of their waters? ...Can anyone talk well?" Angi asked quietly.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11

Angi quietly kept looking around, though it didn't seem like she was able to spot too much at the moment. She still wasn't used to this body, and had quite a ways to go before she understood it properly...

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi simply nodded as Oodie talked. All right... older people on vacation, suggesting at least some wealth in the area. It was also suggestive of a lack of immediate hostilities in the region - that was good, because she'd really rather not go into a war zone so soon after waking up. She was tough, but firearms would shred her.

As the others decided on the course of action, Angi made her way to the front of the boat to keep a lookout - and if necessary later on, she'd manipulate fire to help light their way, but that was a last resort. The light would help them see... and would help others see them, too, which was best to avoid for now.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi blinked at the report, and a small flame appeared between her fingers. "What kind of people?" she asked. "Any sign of advanced technology among them? Well-fed or hungry? Dirty or clean?" she inquired. Observing a person's general condition could tell you a lot about what was going on.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

I'm ready to head south whenever the rest of you are. ^^

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

"It... would be best to avoid damaging the boat." Angi agreed, nodding slightly. She'd help carry it, of course, and between all of them they ought to be able to manage something for storing it safely.

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi quietly listened to the others as they decided where they wanted to go - she was casually testing the range of her powers and seeing just how well she could pinpoint a target.

R. T. Attack (on water): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 14

It was going... middling-well. Not a terrible shot, but hardly anything someone would confuse with a crack sniper. "Well, thank you for saving us." she said quietly. "South is warmer, right? I wouldn't mind that..."

Female Human Kineticist 5 | HP: 60/60 | AC: 13, T: 13, FF: 10 | Fort: +8, Ref: +7, Will: +1 | Fire Blast: +6 (Damage: 3d6 + 5) | CMB: +3, CMD: 16 | Init: +9, Perception: +8 |

Angi quietly kept watch as the boat moved, watching the ocean for signs of trouble - or food. As they went, she idly considered the animals they were seeing, trying to figure out if any information about them had been uploaded into her mind. If she could pinpoint the type of creature they were, maybe she could compare that to the movement of the sun and get a better sense for where they were and what direction they really ought to be going in.

Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (19) + 8 = 27

Angi winced as the audio flooded her mind - her senses, for the moment, felt like they were on fire. She slowly opened and closed her mouth a few times, then carefully pushed her body up... and felt fire flicker between her fingers.

"...Understood." she eventually said. "If necessary, I do believe we can supplement our rations with sea life - I am equipped with modifications to cook food to safe temperatures, as well as generate heat should temperature become a problem." She held up two fingers and a small, knife-like blade of flame formed. She shut it off a moment later, not wanting to waste energy. "...I would prefer to avoid swimming." Words were... hard, at least for the moment.

And I will desperately try to remember to check back for the gameplay thread, since this isn't in my games list until I dot it. XD;

I'm here, I'm here! DX I just thought I hadn't been noticed before, and with an apparently-ignored submission, I'd been busy elsewhere. Building alias now.

EDIT: All right, here we go. Is there anything I still need to change? I'll probably go look back through the Recruitment thread real quick...
