If you don't want me to touch you then you need to explain what is happening. I did ask before I tried anything so we could know what is going on. You are not alone here and we all need to work together. I don't wish to make an enemy of you but we can't afford to make us a beacon to everything living here either. Angada is preparing to have to physical stop the man if he does not stop and explain himself.
A blessing by the holy men could do nothing more than be good for them. I have not known much of ships except to travel once when young and this trip. Angada helps to cover the grave and looks for some stones that would help to make a memorial of some sort for the men. I would be happy to hear more of your story when you feel it would be appropriate.
No, I am Vanaran. We are not demon worshipping monkeys. We may have similarities to monkeys but we are intelligent and have our own societies. We live mainly in warm forests and jungles. We try and live with nature. My tribe was assaulted when I was younger and with my mother ran from the Mwangi Expanse. I was on my way back to meet her when the ship wrecked. Angada looks sad when he brings up his mother. He does shake it off and continues with what they are doing. I took no offense to the question as I learned when young that I stand out as different. You have traveled well so what do you do? Sounds like you could impart a lot of information.
I dislike having to buy items from the pot and I for sure don't agree with individual and group loot. I consider armor for the fighter to be group beneficial. Same with weapons. Spells might be affecting the group but overall so is the extra damage or protection not requiring more things. I think loot is better served helping the party. I am not saying that just because loot helps a character that they should get it. I think something for saves, armor, and a weapon is important for each character though I know some that armor is more difficult but could easily opt for something else. Unless everyone is equipped the same amount then if ahead have to decide to trade in old for sale for group gold or pass on new item for sale. I do not look to be the most heavily outfitted magic item character. Normally want a magic weapon (or 2) and armor. I will take saving throw item but normally would rather have something else. I think loot should be viewed at how it helps the party. If there is a +2 shirt that would help the cleric better then I am not worried that the 2125 is not being split by the party to help make our cleric tougher. If he already had + 1 hide then would have to pick which one he wanted and the other is sold for the group money. Normally it is 2 to 3 items picked before have to start trading unless everyone has same number then it ups by 1. This is one that allows less bookkeeping and less worries about trying to remember who has done what. Can easily look at character sheets and see how many items someone has. I do agree with a share of loot going to party needs. I am not planning on tracking and if other system is used then I will state now that I plan on taking no loot and just wish to be given my money.
I am fine with whatever. I easily keep up. My life is such that the pace is slow for me. I sometimes might misread something but my life is such that a day or weekend might miss but overall browse these boards multiple hours a day. I am not complaining. It is how PbP works and I get to do things that I don't with my home PFS group. PFS has gotten stale for me as I don't really develop my characters.
Angada is working on finishing the shelter without proper tools and glad he is hardy enough to stand the heat. Angada is hoping things are going well at the ship and maybe they can find some tools to make things easier. The shelter needs to be ready so hopefully can get some defensive measures up before the local wildlife shows up. Glad I made the Fort save. I have a question on what roll I would need to see if while building shelter if I could find something that would make a good bow?
The benefit for the Piranha Strike is that it works with weapon finesse and don't have to have Str. like Power Attack. I think I saw a thread talking about high Dex characters without Str using is and monks. The Rhino Charge thing is one I saw before but said nothing because it is never clarified in the threads discussing it. I think Paizo wants the person in charge of the game to make some decisions.
I have a question about things now. I wasn't sure what to do about losing the synthesist so was curious on if I should have went towards the ship as well. I was staying to look after people but could show up. Nngara, I am going ranged and not melee. I can if I have to but that is not what I am building towards. I think a Tower Shield fighter would be cool as having to watch out for armor (until find ways to survive in jungle with it) would allow the shield to help a lot.
I am sorry it happened and everyone views things and run things their way. I am not sure what the problem was. It is why I ask how things are done. If I do something wrong then will accept it but if I don't understand then will ask till I do. I don't want to argue with GM. Let me know if I ever sound like that. I also just dropped from an excellent PbP game just because things kept confusing me where everyone else seemed to understand it. Just couldn't handle the confusion and was about to turn into a bot that was going to be pointed and then roll dice. That would not have been fair to the others so I dropped.
I was only going if I saw sail. I wasn't going to do more than get sail for the shelter at that time. I will wait till later to go to the ship. That is why I put it in a spoiler. It was all dependent on if there was sail visible that would be a quick cut and bring back. Angada explains that it is not the best shelter but without tools then should help some. Ask when it is cooler if some could help gather extra firewood.
A creature with a climb speed has a +8 racial bonus on all Climb checks. The creature must make a Climb check to climb any wall or slope with a DC higher than 0, but it can always choose to take 10, even if rushed or threatened while climbing. If a creature with a climb speed chooses an accelerated climb*, it moves at double its climb speed (or at its base land speed, whichever is slower) and makes a single Climb check at a –5 penalty. Such a creature retains its Dexterity bonus to Armor Class (if any) while climbing, and opponents get no special bonus to their attacks against it. It cannot, however, use the run action while climbing. Which means with no armor and taking 10 I get a 20 which I figured would make the climb up a ship that is tilting on its side. Knew I was forgetting something. Thanks about the -5 reminder Fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21
Angada tries to make sure everyone looks well enough before pulling off his armor. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Angada is now trying to see if it looks like there is any sail that would be easy enough to get from the ship to try and use for making shelter. Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 He also states he will start looking for food and shelter. Survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
If there is sail to gathered: Angada asks for some help with the sail.
Don't know how many checks will be needed but made 2 in case only one there and one back as just after sailcloth for shelter at the moment. Swim: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22 Swim: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15 Angada climbs easily up on the ship and does looks for rope to help whoever came with him.
Angada hurries over to the man and makes sure is in no immediate danger then starts to move everything up on the shore away from the tide being able to get it. Where are we?: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 - 2 = 7
Angada checks the trunk, the sacks, the weapons and tries to make sure what needs to dries is set on a sack spread out over the sand. Others might need help but survival means taking care of supplies over losing them so he sets himself to the task. Got to keep a lookout: 1d20 + 5 - 2 ⇒ (8) + 5 - 2 = 11
Anganda climbs up whatever will not be in the sailors way to find a quiet place to enjoy the sea air. The tight enclosures is not something he will ever see as comfortable for living except when it is the storm season. He watches the stars and the people moving on the boat and gets comfortable for the night. He can sleep later but just doesn't feel like sleeping tonight.
I also have the map and so would be happy to exchange it for something to help with Craft:Bows without the bonus but made to survive the jungle wear or since from the Expanse switch for Polygot (I plan on taking another linguistics point at second for Polygot if no to that suggestion) GM Poisonblade: I saw the post about doing things right. I would say that each to their own. I was voted on by a group to be picked to join a game in progress and the GM did not select me after he stated the group would get to weigh in. Each of these is how a GM does it. Next time just state that you know the concepts you like and will hold recruitment up to a certain time unless find the proper mix you want earlier. Players need to submit sooner than later to not miss having a chance. I saw that in one recruitment thread and people who dotted came back in a couple of hours.
It is up to the GM to state how his recruitment thread works and so find what you are comfortable with. Also was said see how many PbP threads the person is involved with. To me that makes no difference unless you are going to go into each game and see if they are actually keeping up. Sounds like a lot of work. Just put in requirements of how much posting is needed if you ask me.
Angada will be finding a quiet place to try and watch through the night. The way it was casually shrugged off about the care of a passenger has made Angada not want to be in a cabin for the evening. He did not care for the thought of being trapped with no recourse. No matter the crime, the prisoner should not be treated that way during transportation. |
