A truck full of PDF troopers has arrived to investigate. The lasgun-armed troopers file out of the truck -- several squads you think. Their commander -- a commissar in a heavy trenchcoat -- directs them to the drop pod.

Can you all roll concealment?

I'd love to, but I did make it a point to stand away from the drop pod. I'm a bold (read= stupid) mofo! LOL. Judging by the way rolls are going, concealment might be out of the question!

Andronical swings the power sword around in a windmill arc, more to stretch his muscle than to display any facility with the blade; then scans the horizon for the approaching vehicle

Andronical replaces the helmet on his head and seals it. Looking over his shoulder as he places the helmet on his head, he can see the left-most tine of his trophy rack. The one that holds the pierced helmet of the hated Ultramarines. The two center tines hold the held of an Eldar, and an Ork. The last, right-most spike, has the desiccated remains of a human head. Amid the hiss of his armor sealing itself he checks the biomonitor for operational awareness (Blood pressure increasing slightly, nothing to worry about...) and draws his power sword. There is a distinct basso hum coming from the sword as it powers up...

Andronical takes two steps from the drop pod (no more) and waits for the vehicle to approach.

Whoever it is, they are travelling fast. We can take cover around the drop pod, then take whatever vehicle they are using to get to the hive faster. Otherwise it will be a long walk, and the clock is ticking.

Andronical takes two clips of ammunition out of the case and places them in his ammo pouches.

We should find some cover. A place to set up as a base, then get to the work of grinding this pitiful planet for all its worth.

Andronical looks in the direction Keita's barrel is pointing.

Andronical will rotate the case around to the direction Keita is pointing. He really doesn't see whatever it is Keita is watching, but will take her word for it, for now. Once the case is interposed between Andronical and the mysterious unseen thing on the horizon, he will open the case.

As the hatches pop on the drop pod, Andronical hits the quick-release on the safety straps and stands up. Drawing his bolt pistol, he grabs the handle on the case and drags it out of the drop pod and two meters away. Keeping an eye open for danger, he hunkers down behind the case and keeps his eyes open, covering the exit of the others.

Andronical hoists up the case in front of him, and steps onto the drop pod and straps himself into a seat.

Almost against his will, Andronical turns to face the seer. He removes his helm and shakes out his overgrown mop of black hair.

This gathering does not need my skills. They are too fractious and discontent. They would rather waste time in petty bickering and one-upsmanship than achieve glory.

I edited it because I felt it was too harsh. I feel the roleplay given is overly antagonistic. And if you want brutal honesty, the antagonism is useless. And I did not say I was replacing this game. I have a DH game I've been involved in since Jun of 2014. Whether you like that or not is entirely your business.

I don't want to be the leader of any of your characters. They are entirely too fractious.

From what I've seen there are many players on this board who make it a point to enter games and basically be a jerk. I'm still deciding who is who.

You know what? Eff this stupid website. I just had a TON of good roleplay added to the backstory that is now lost because apparently the site re-loaded and lost everything I entered. I'll add more later after I'm done being pissed off at Paizo and their shitty website shenanigans.

On the control pad at his arm, Andronical noticed a blue light flickering, then resolve itself to a steady glow. Proximity sensoria gauged the distance to their target and pinged incessantly.

In the dark, the forward point of the torpedo glittered. Its diamantine drill tip started to rotate slowly. As they neared the freighter, the tip picked up speed. At the moment of impact, the drill bit deep into the hull of the freighter as the torpedo swelled to fill the gaps between it and the hull. Rear thrusters pushed the torpedo deeper into the ship. Pinion anchors deployed off the torpedo, locking it in place as the front cone fell off, opening the way for the Traitor Marines to disembark. Barca led the way, hopping off the edge of the torpedo and spinning left to cover the exit of the team. Korbolek was next and turned to the right, taking a knee and bringing his bolter up. Tzolar followed behind Korbolek and tapped his pauldron as he passed, moving forward into the darkened craft. Andronical was next, hunkering down to allow his trophy rack to clear the breach.
