I am just finishing up GM'ing Abomination Vaults Ruins of Gauntlight and see I have earned the 'Ghost Hunter' boon on the Chronicle. I assume this means I now have access to the Ghost Hunter Archetype. If so, does it have to be applied to the specific character the chronicle is applied to or can it be transferred to another of my Characters? The other books also contain Archetypes, so while I wish to apply all three Chronicles to the same Character as I keep GM'ing the rest, I don't wish to apply three Archetypes as well. I would much rather pass these on to different Characters that are more fitting. Is there an official PFS2 Rule on this?
Thanks,
Andrew.

Hi,
Sorry to ask what is probably an obvious question. I am an Expert in Medicine which means I can attempt a DC 20 to increase the Hitponts. If I fail to reach the 20, but make the 15, say I roll 18, does this mean my Patient receives no Hitpoints, not even the DC 15 2d8?
Also is the critical success DC30 (4d8) if I'm attempting a 20 (being an expert) or 25 as in DC15. I realise my patient gets nothing if I fail DC15 (or other DC as determined by the GM and do damage on a critical failure, but what is the crit based off. What I am attempting or DC15.
Thanks in advance for your answer,
Andrew

"In Campaign mode, GMs can use their own rules for character creation and running the presented content (the entire book or series). They are not even required to use the Pathfinder RPG rules, but they must run the adventure using a tabletop roleplaying game and use the Adventure Path or Pathfinder Module as the primary source for adventure content."

Does this mean we can also change the setting in Campaign Mode, obviously as long as we obey the above and can we do minor tweaks like god/npc name Changes etc.? I have a homebrew world and would like to give Chronicles to the Players to add to their official Organised Play Characters which are obviously not the ones that play in the homebrew campaign.
Thanks for your time,
Andrew.

Hi,

I'd like to ask an Organiser the answer to the below question.

Can Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Scenarios be run in Campaign Mode (Homegames) as per p11 of the Guild Guide (copied below)?

Most seem to hint this in the "How to play" Section:
This scenario is designed for play in the Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild campaign, but it can easily be adapted for use with any world.

Campaign Mode: For sanctioned Adventure Paths, GMs are allowed to use their own rules for character creation and running the presented content (the entire book or series). Credit is applied to an appropriate Roleplaying Guild character as if the character created were a pregenerated character.

Thanks for your time on this,
Andrew

LFG for Starfinder / Pathfinder Organised Play Fantasy Ground users. I am certainly prepared to do my share of GM'ing. I have a Fantasy Grounds Ultimate Licence so it is free to join a game I am GM'ing. Please send an email to carlmund@dquell.com if you know of a group needing members or wish to start one.
Thanks for your time,
Andrew.
