Ok, is this game happening?
Just need a way to let the drakes in, but sure
Andreas checks the room to see if there is a window to allow the drakes in before he answers.
Andreas walks in, not even giving the man a second glance, beckoning the others to move in. Bonded Mind @ Giacomo: "Weak minded fool of a guard."
"Good evening. We are back with more business for your master, Devargo. Let us pass." states Andreas calm as can be.
"Seems like boldness is as good of an idea as any."
”There was a window, right? We could break that window and let them in. Maybe one or two of the drakes could come in with us, like familiars or something.” comments Andreas. ”But fast talking our way in, that sounds appropriate. ”
bonded mind @ Giacomo: "You know, we could do a shop where I sell 'potions' like this. have a bunch of bottles at the ready, and add the labels as needed."
”Exactly.”
"Which is more wrong, Alex? Us taking the law into our own hands, performing vigilante justice, or allowing this vile man to continue to poison the people of Korvosa? “And it is not rumors. You saw what he has been doing to poor Majenko. Anyone able to do that to one creature, for his vile pleasure, is capable of doing it to others. "I know that I will sleep better knowing that this predator has been elimitated. "Really, this is just like taking out the weasel that has been getting into your henhouse. Left unchecked, the weasel will kill every chicken without regards to what it can actually consume. This King of Spiders is the same."

"This is just. The man deserves to die for what he did to Majenko." Without even waiting for the others, Andreas says to the drakes, in draconic, "You have my word that this vile man will die. Your flight saved my life and the life of my brother when our companions fled the imps. My life is yours, and should I have to spend it to save Majenko, so be it, though I hope that it doesn't come to that."
”Please,” pleads Andreas. ”It is as my brother says, Majenko is held by a vile man, who preys on man and beast alike. “It is much as when you saved us from the Hell monkeys a while back. We wish to return the favor, but cannot do it alone. ”
Before the team tries to infiltrate, Andreas goes to where he previously found the house drakes. He tries to call for them when he sees them.
As he leaves, Andreas pays close attention to where in the building the room is, focusing on if there are any windows or other ways in or out.
In draconic, Andreas says, "I am sorry, little one. There is nothing I can do right now. But perhaps I can find some of your cousins to help free you?"
"But, maybe, just maybe, I can come up with a better deal. What if we were able to bring you in an imp? A 'toy' that could be far more fun. IN fact, you could have it change into many different forms, allowing you to ... play ... with it, many different ways. I've been ... experimenting... with them, and they can be quite educational."
Giacomo: "You think we could animate an imp, or something like that?"
"Majenko, I will see what I can do. Hang in there." whispers Andreas. bonded mind @giacomo: "We need to do something to save him!"
Andreas moves over to the house drake in the cage. In draconic, he whispers, "Who are you, little one? Why are you in this cage?" Andreas looks closely at the drake, to see if he looks healthy.
Andreas waits to see what Vulpina will do.

"Expected? Perhaps not. But your boss will be most unhappy if you prevent him from hearing of the business opportunity that Lady Yulai Reipia will present to him. She doesn't have the time nor the inclination to wait like some petty bureaucrat. If she cannot talk to your boss today, it is likely she will make a deal with one of his competitors. "I am sure that you don't want that to happen." says Andreas.
Andreas thinks on this revelation. message:
”While that is a different look, I don’t know that it helps us. ” he whispers. ”Kitsune are not very common in Korvosa, it might be that the two of you are the only ones. That, in and of itself, can be a liability. “A rare fox-woman that would be willing to enter into such a business arrangement would likely be known to him. Let me think a moment.” Andreas picks at his beard as he ponders the problem. message: ”I have an idea. Let’s play on the look as being fey, and we can hope our mark doesn’t know much about such things. You have access to many fey folk that are wanting to ‘play’, and there is a business opportunity with that. Yes, I think we can make it work. “After all, we only need the rise until we get to talk to him. ”
Giacomo via bonded mind:
"I think he's pretty much been the violent one. A tool we'll have to carefully aim" message: "Lady Vulpina, I think we can make this plan work. "Well, let's get going. "Perhaps a way to approach this is to claim that our Lady Vulpina wants to meet with the 'King of Spiders'. Perhaps she wants to enter into a deal to expand business. Once we get in, we can start talking more about the specifics, 'in the interests of Korvosa'. "Not sure that will work, but we can run a line of BS that will get their heads to spin. I am hoping that we can do it without spending too much, if any, of our bribe money."
GM Worg So, I guess I didn't even know we were allowed rerolls... not that we really need them. :P But, I am assuming that you will let us know if/when they reset? Since it isn't always clear when there is a chapter transition. Thanks!

"Thank you, sir." says Andreas. "We are new on the scene, but we each have our reasons to want to improve. Getting the predators off the streets is a good start, but it feels like someone should be working on the causes. "I am a little saddened by what happened to Verik. He was doing something good for the people who needed it most, but he did it in the wrong way."
"Hmm. Interesting. Well, I guess it is time to go talk to the sergeant? She's been waiting for you."

"Verik, sorry, I missed the name of your beloved. We'd love to talk to her, since her cause does seem a truly just one."
"I agree, Lady Vulpina. These are hard times, and the common folks should not pay for the struggles of their betters, though it does happen."
"Please ignore my associates. They are a bit too keen to fight. "You are Verik Vancaskerkin, I presume? If so, we are here because Captain Cressida wants to talk to you. Nothing to be scared about, she just wants to talk. "So, if you could put your bow down, and relax, we can just walk back to the precinct headquarters peacefully."

Andreas looks at the ring, and tries to recall who it might have belonged to, along with the finger.
"That's another fine mess we've gotten into." says Andreas. "At least you can take them one at a time." If he can see the lead reefclaw, Andreas uses the wand of magic missile, moving if he has to.
"hmm... Living quarters. None to clean, either."
Andreas investigates, just in case.
"Sounds like a good idea, Kip."
”That sounds like a wise plan. ” says Andreas. ”Lets check the back room, first,though. ” he says as he goes through the door to the back.
"It should be simple. Black robes with red trim. That sounds appropriate, eh brother." says Andreas. "Just like our robes."
"Huh." says Andreas, rather overwhelmed by the label. Bonded Mind @ Giacomo:
"Wow. That's something new. Never got that when I was on the street." Standing a little taller, Andreas makes his way back. "Yeah, I kind of like it. You know, we could all start wearing matching robes or something. Give ourselves a street persona. That might be a good way to protect ourselves while creating a bit of a legend!"
Andreas thinks upon what he might have heard about this 'Robed Master'.

"You know anything about this robed master?" "Seems fair that we appropriate their weapons and such. Prevent them from hurting anyone else."
Andreas looks out in the street to see if the family is still in range. If so, he calls out to them, as he goes back into the shop, and grabs the cut in the window, bringing it out to them. "Folks, there seems to have been a miscommunication. You were to have received this piece. We apologize about any inconvenience. Enjoy it with your family and friends. "
Andreas is content to watch the martials do their work.
Andreas moves back, shaking his head. "We are just here to talk." He uses augment to give Kipp a +2 Strength.
