Evil eye hex: The target takes a –2 penalty on one of the following (witch’s choice): AC, ability checks, attack rolls, saving throws, or skill checks. This hex lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + the witch’s Intelligence modifier. A Will save reduces this to just 1 round.
This is a mind-affecting effect. At 8th level the penalty increases to –4.
Cackle hex: A witch can cackle madly as a move action. Any creature that is within 30 feet that is under the effects of an agony hex, charm hex, evil eye hex, fortune hex, or misfortune hex caused by the witch has the duration of that hex extended by 1 round.
Healing hex: This acts as a cure light wounds spell, using the witch’s caster level. Once a creature has benefited from the healing hex, it cannot benefit from it again for 24 hours. At 5th level, this hex acts like cure moderate wounds.
Time patron - bonus spells: 2nd-Ventriloquism, 4th-silence, 6th-haste, 8th- Threefold Aspect, 10th-teleport, 12th-disintegrate, 14th-expend, 16th-temporal stasis, 18th-time stop.

Background:
The bastard daughter of a pesh addict, Anaara Sand was sold into slavery before she was five years old to pay for her mother’s next high; the only one she calls family is her large-eared, pale-furred fox Kevi, who has stayed close by her side as long as she can remember. She lavishes Kevi with affection, and Kevi gives it back, talking with Anaara long into the night of the mysteries of the cycles of the spheres. Kevi has taught Anaara some marvelous tricks - how to use the power within her mind to overcome another’s will, see magical auras, conjure dancing motes of light, or wish misfortune on another. Her masters feared her power at first, but then they began to see its usefulness. They began to keep Anaara close by during business dealings or diplomatic functions, using her abilities to aid their negotiations and interactions. Anaara has been handed from one master to another as fate has decreed. Some have been good-natured, others not as kind, but all learn quickly that Anaara’s power can be used very effectively to further their ends. Slavery has been a fact of life for Anaara, and attempting escape never crossed her mind, but finally, there is a chance that she will be able to break out of the endless cycle from one master to the next. She was recently ceded to the city government in recompense for her latest master’s debt, and they have given her a promise - assist in the recovery of Kelmarane, ruined by disaster many years before, and freedom can be hers. This opportunity may never arise again, and she intends to see the task through.
Appearance and Personality:
Anaara is very shy, accustomed to disappearing into the background while her masters lead the way. Having been a slave throughout her entire memory, servitude is a fact of life for her, and it has never occurred to her to attempt to use her power to escape - until she was extended an offer of freedom in exchange for assisting in Kelmarane’s recovery, the thought of escaping slavery had never occurred to her, and certainly never the idea of attempting to use her power to forcibly leave it.
Anaara is 5’7” tall, with a slight, willowy build. As a slave of the state, she dresses in very plain robes and wears a metal collar around her neck, signifying her servitude. Her hair is long and worked into thick beaded dreadlocks; each bead was gifted by a former master for faithful service. Kevi is a desert fox, with large ears, a pale tan coat, and a clever gleam in her eyes.
