So you can train all the fighters and then all the cleric stuff. equip/slot all the fighter slot and get the bonus (when it comes out), then later that day or the next, equip and slot all your cleric stuff and get the pure cleric bonus.

Wonderful. Thanks.

Just staring out in Early Enrollment and have not kept up on if there is still a plan for a dedication bonus or capstone abilities for sticking with a single role vs multiclassing?

If there is, does anyone know if there is a restriction on what feats you can train from different roles?

For example, if I am aiming for a dedicated fighter and I inadvertently train a cleric or wizard feat will I lose the ability to get the Fighter capstone ability / dedication bonus?

Just want to make sure I don't do something stupid today that will limit my options later.

I asked if there would be more add on's, it was and still is a yes or no question. At no point did I ask if they would be on the boards. If you don't want to answer a simple wait and see or we'd rather not say would have been fine.

Here is the answer that Kobold King got for the same question on the Kickstarter page:

"We would not announce new Add-Ons in the Comments where most folks would never see them. If/when more are announced, they'll go up on the home page of the project, just like always."

Interesting that GW blew you off but left the door open when Kobold King asked...wonder why they would do that? Any thoughts?

I think now that we're in the stretch run, and min/maxers can start figuring out exactly what they can get, a lot of money is going to pour in. This is part of it.

Agreed. Should be fun to watch. :D

Nice little mention over at the Massively site.

Massively

Will be interesting to see what response it gets. Here's hoping it generates more buzz.

i.e., add $190 to get one 1yr and three 3m gametime codes

I'm guessing the answer is probably yes but just want to be 100% clear.

It was confirmed in the Kickstarter comment section (by GW) that this is correct.

Cheers.

@Keovar - it seems to me that the benefits of Alpha far outweigh the benefits of having 2 accounts. What I would do, were I extremely worried about the issue and wanted to guarantee that I'd be able to train multiple characters on the very first day of Early Enrollment, is make two Kickstarter accounts and pledge twice, once for Alpha and once for Pioneer or Buddy.

But that's just me.

Way ahead of you... :D

The reasons high dollar backers might reverse a pledge are legion and I'm not privy to them. It's unfortunate, but it's to be expected in a project like this.

Again, I remain very optimistic. Again, 90% of projects which reach 30% of their goal are funded. Again, we got 2/3rds of the total amount raised for the Technology Demo in the last 8 days. Again, we got 1/3rd of the amount raised in the last 24 hours. Again, it's the holidays - and nobody would have expected a lot of movement over the holidays; although what we did raise exceeded my expectations.

The board is green here at Goblinworks. We're getting ready for the Big Push. This is why we didn't run a 30 day Kickstarter, we gave ourselves 2 weeks post-Holiday to hit the goal.

First time to these forums but have been keeping an eye on this project for a while. Nice to meet everyone.

I am one of the people that changed a pledge today from the Tavern package to the Crowdforger Alpha package on the Kickstarter site. Some of the comments I have seen since would seem to imply that the reduction/change in in pledges (mine and others) is a sign of the campaign losing momentum. To that end, I want to make a small declaration to perhaps help stem the tide of doom and gloom.

For what it is worth, I am very eager, as are all of you, to see this game released...but...as with all things in life there is a constant need to manage unexpected competing priorities. It is as simple as that for me in this case (no conspiracy, no ulterior motives). My reasons for having to consider a lesser pledge amount has nothing to do with the game or my confidence in it. In fact, quite the opposite is true - I am so excited about what is being developed I am still trying to figure out how to pledge more.

Don't let a minor trend of coincidences kill your enthusiasm for this Kickstarter campaign. I agree with those that think it is going well and personally believe it will exceed the established goal (and I am telling anyone that will listen the same thing)!

Ryan, Lisa - I have been very impressed by what the Goblinworks team has done (and will continue doing) with this project. I have been waiting for someone to get this right since Ultima Online lost favor to EQ and I think you are on the right path. Thanks for that and I look forward to playing in the future.
