Amelia finally had everything she could have wanted. As she looked across the county through the palace windows, there was always a tinge of sadness to it.
She busied herself with advising, enjoying parties and courtly functions and quickly became known within the nation as an extremely shrewd and highly competent Countess.
It didn't take long for her to quickly realize that there were still problems that needed to be solved, and she worked to help pull youth off the street, to provide them with opportunity like she had. With her wiles it took nearly no time at all to get many of Taldor's elite on board with the idea. While some realized it was altruistic, others saw opportunity to increase Taldor's glory; she cared not for what their reason was because it was ultimately her choices that nudged them where she wanted them to go.
In time, the sadness started to wane as she realized that while this all came at a great loss, it allowed her to salvage many lives; and more importantly keep them out of the clutches of the cult that scarred her.
However in all of this time, she never once missed an anniversary of Liam's sacrifice and constantly kept a watchful eye at Katria's back.

Amelia moves toward Katria and puts an arm around her. The scholar always seemed more detached but this single moment right here reminded Amelia otherwise. "It is what he wanted."
She notices the rose before Katria puts the Standard over him, "Milani didn't just make a hero, she chose a proper champion."
Struggling for words, the weight of the choice finally hits her.
"We did it Katria." She squeezes her hard.

Amelia raises an eyebrow, "I'm sorry Katria, but this is where my goodwill has to end. I've lived my life in the literal shadows and gutters. I can't give this up now; I've come so far to become someone." She clutches a necklace and looks toward the floor, "I've sold enough of my soul..." Her voice becomes forceful but starts to quake, "I won't do it again."
Her eyes genuinely water, unsure if it is from reminiscing of her own journey or from what Liam is proposing. "There must be another way... But if you insist I will not stop you." The Lady Amelia Reed stares into the half-elf's eyes, "Whatever you choose you must be okay with, and if that is truly what you want I will ensure that your legacy lives."
She slices her hand against Koriana's Blade, "You joked before that such a bloody act wasn't necessary, but I offer it again. My oath that I will continue to strive for a Taldor that we can all be proud of."
Focusing, she takes a deep breath to steel herself, "If I could have one request from a devout man..." She moves toward Liam.

Amelia heard Taldaris' replies but knew that deep down there was more than duty for his nation, there was love.
"Does it matter? Are you not going to give one of your own the same chances for strength? The same chances for a future? I'm sure if we went back further enough, some would say the same about you. What deeds did you have before you became the legend that you were? Don't you owe it to the love of your country? How can you call yourself a leader if you cannot follow the beating heart of the nation... A nation that calls for Eutropia and those that believe in her?"
She goes for the stab, "I love this nation. I have done much, even brave death for this nation and far worse. I implore you, take a step back and realize a nation is its people... And sometimes such things don't follow logic and reason. They just are"

Amelia feels like she's on death's door before some of the dirt she's on manages to miraculously get into Cyricas' eye and stop what would be nearly lethal.

I'm on mobile but I can make the checks needed if we still want to kill him. I can autopass the Stealth check via Camouflage / Hide in Plain Sight and raw numbers, the Strength check I can pass with a +8 Luck Bonus as I have a +8 inherently.

I had my blade drawn, sorry Liam! Otherwise this would have been a real good starting turn... and possibly a dead Stavian. If only I settled on Quick Draw.

Yeah it's not great, but its between that or just another Runestone of Power.
It's a shame that item DCs are pretty terrible. I would probably be better off with Bane Arrows when you go by the pure numbers / cost but I don't think they're nearly as dramatic.

Thinking of some Greater Slaying Arrows but don't know what creature type. Totally just thinking of these to make use of Pinpoint Shot the one time I absolutely need something to go through.

Get the Physical Might to +6 (50k) and get the Bow to +5 (32k) so I can break Alignment and Adamantine. That leaves me with 18k to pitch towards Scrolls and stuff we might need.

@Liam: Invoke Uprising seems really good. Dispels are never bad. I can't use the Scabbard of Keen Edge, I have Improved Critical already.
