Amalthia looks up, realizing that the surge of blood hasn't come yet. She screws up her courage... and makes a dash through the river of blood, up the hall, into the room, and behind the guy in the chair that the blood is pouring from.

Amalthia jolts and flails back to consciousness, only to find herself still in a river of blood. "Eeeek!" she looks around frantically for a place free of the morbid river.
Is the only blood free space I can see in the room behind the dreamer in the chair who seems to be the source of the blood?

"EEEEEEEEEEEK!!!" Amalthia manages to scream before being submerged in an unnatural river of blood. She breaks the surface, gasping for air with a look of pure panic on her face before she crashes into the wall and falls unconscious in the river of blood.

It sounds like she's trying to convince herself that's true.
She stands and shoves the paper in her bag.
"We don't need to wait on me." she says between sniffles. "Let's get out of here."

Amy takes the file and reads it carefully.
"Amalthia..." she says, trying out the name aloud. It's not something she would have guessed, but she had guessed close.
She goes back to reading the paper.
Human?
Why the question mark? Clearly she was human! What kind of foolish doctor ran this place! And Varisian?! She was far too pale! ...Wasn't she? And...
Suddenly Amy Amalthia goes pale. Her hands shake, and her eyes water. She clamps a hand to her mouth in shock. A moment later she bursts into tears and falls to her knees, sobbing uncontrollably.
She lets go of her mouth, clutches the paper to her chest and places a protective hand over the stomach with the other.
"I have a baby..." she sobs. "Where's my child?"

Amy covers her mouth at the sight of the rats eating the crazy people. As the rat returns to Toad she takes a nervous step away from it.

Amy yanks her nails out of the door, eyes widening at the wood she's gouged with her bare hands. She looks at her nails, then looks at the psychotic man in front of her.

"I don't know!" Amy shrieks in a panic. She finishes pointing out the magical objects and then breaks down into tears. As she sobs, her tears cause the strange drippy goop to run and drip off of her eyes, leaving big green goo streaks down her face.
"What did they do to us?" she wails.

Eventually she gets ahold of herself and wipes her face on her sleeve. "Sorry..." she mutters.
With a sniffle she looks at the magical objects she's collected.
Which of the objects were magical? If any were scrolls I can cast read magic on them to figure out what they are.

Suddenly a thick dopy substance bubbles up and covers Amy's eyes. She let's out a scream and bats at it in a panic. Evertually she stops shrieking and looks around only to see she can still see. With panicked breathing and wide eyes she looks around.
