The Azur flinched as the scythe cut into him. It didn't truly get through his armor, and for that he was thankful. But it was coated in something, and that was worrisome. His first attack was wild, designed more to create space than anything else. The follow up swings? They were much more precise in their application.

What stands out to me...no dump stats. Con and Wis are the highest stats.

* Slow Speed: -1 race point
- Could replace slow speed with this ability from Salamander Bloodline: Serpent’s Tail (Su) Your speed is reduced by 10 feet (to a minimum of 5 feet), and you can’t be tripped. Your footwear melds into your body and is nonfunctional unless it provides a constant bonus and does not need to be activated. You also gain a tail slap natural attack that deals 1d8 points of damage (1d6 if you are Small) + your Strength modifier.
* Craftsman: 1 race point
9 points right there, depending on how the speed his handled.
Maybe throw in: Heat (Ex) A salamander generates so much heat that its mere touch deals an additional 1d6 points of fire damage. A salamander’s metallic weapons also conduct this heat.
Not a very big deal for a lower level cleric. In a campaign like this, +1d6 fire damage will almost never matter anyways, but it is very thematic.
All in all...it would feel like a Salamander. Without anything jumping out as being really broken for a cohort.

Main thing from this...
Loci Sentry (Sp) As a standard action, you can expend 1 point of mental focus to set a ward about an area. This area has a maximum radius of 10 feet + 5 feet per occultist level you possess. Whenever a creature enters the area, a sentry manifested by your psyche appears and strikes out at the intruder. The affected creature must succeed at a Will save or be dazed for 1 round. You are immediately aware of the sentry’s activation. The sentry lasts for up to 1 hour per occultist level you possess, or until triggered. When you set the sentry, you can set any number of specific creatures to be immune to the sentry and thus avoid triggering it.
Using that whenever we rest, to avoid being interrupted.
Also, every day using this:
Transmutation (overland flight) - lasts 13 hours, gives 30ft fly speed and +6 fly skill
Nice to have fly speed always on.
