Hmmmm. I won't say the answer makes me happy, but being in a service providing job, I also know you sometimes just have to say 'No' to your customers, especially when it comes down to dealing with your suppliers. The fact that this should be a rare occurence (and that I just got lucky twice :op) is good to know. Also, knowing how the system works helps. As my boss tends to say: 'Keep 'em informed'.
I wasn't sure if this was website related or customer service, so I just picked one. As I was just browsing through the toys department, I found a rather disturbing feature. Looking at some of the plushes, I saw a few I liked, and to find out what the total would come down to including shipping, I added them to my cart. Or tried to, since as soon as I hit the 'Add to cart' button the page reloaded and the status of the item was 'Currently unavailable'. Now that is the sort of info I would like to have before I try to buy them. I find it rather annoying when it looks like something is available, only to find out that it isn't. In other words, keeping the stock information updated would be much appreciated.
Just saw this thread, figured I'd add my bit. Human, Elf or half-elf for race. People tend to say I have something elvish about me, or picture me as an elf if they haven't seen me before, stuff like that. Class: either Arcane Trickster or Mystic Theurg (?). Something mystic, I used to know the official title. :oP
Greetings, I placed an order for some Cheapass games on the 29th of June. Almost from the point 'Go', their order status has been 'Ready to ship'. Yet, no payment has been taken from my card, even though there is plenty of credit left on it. Can somebody please clear up what is happening here? Kind regards, Alwin

Greetings! A question born out of curiousity and hope. :o) There's something very particular I'm after - to be precise, the Cheapass accesories pack. On the site it now says 'Currently not available', which is annoying, but that's life. My question is: do you guys get any notification from Cheapass as to when it would/might be available again? Or is there any sort of chase up or anything like that? And if so, would you announce any additional information you have with the product (as in, 'Expected November 2007' or similar)? I had a look at the Cheapass site as well, but it only gives me a snail mail address and phone number, which is not much use to me living in the UK. :o) Any feedback would be much appreciated!
